Stephanie: So Cass, how's it going with your mom?

Cassandra: Amazing, actually. Just last week she took me shopping. It was really fun!

Stephanie: I meant your bio-mom, Cass. Not Dinah's mom.

Jason: Word on the street is that your dad killed the Joker--

Dinah: Is that so? Well, what do you have to say for yourself?

Cletus [was feeling pleased with himself but now seeing Dinah is pissed]: Uh...

Dinah: I thought you said you wouldn't do that anymore. That was the stipulation for your release--

Cletus: For legal reasons I must deny everything but if you're worried about clowns... [winks] you're welcome... [cringing] Don't tell Renee.

Dinah: You're unbelievable!

Helena: Dinah, come on. It's the Joker we're talking about. If it was my dad I'd be proud of him.

Cletus, [smirking]: that's good since already think of you like another daughter--

Dinah: That's not the point! Did you even think of the risk to mom? To me? You might not give a shit but did you even think of what it would do to mom to see you go to prison again?

Cletus, [upset to have upset her]: Dinah... I'm sorry. But you don't need to worry so much... They'll never find him.

Jason [heart-eyes]: ...Can I come live with you?

Frances, [to young Dinah]: Dont worry, mommy's going to drop kick anyone that touches you.

Cletus: ...And daddy is gonna break mommy out of jail.

Frances: Now, the next time someone decides to bully you, what do you do?

Dinah: Cry?

Frances: No. You tell me, or you tell someone you trust like Ollie or Helena--

Dinah: ...What about dad?

Frances, [grimly]: Unless you want the bully dead, I recommend you not tell them anything.

Dinah: Did you have to stab him?

Frances: You weren't there. You didn't hear what he said to me.

Dinah, [hands on hips]: Well, what did he say?

Frances: "What are you gonna do freak, stab me?"

Helena: ...That's fair.

*Getting to know each other over coffee...*

Dinah: ...What were you and mom like when you first met?

Cletus, smiling: From the moment I first saw her, I knew.

Frances: Uh, no. I threatened to rip out your eyeballs and feed them to you.

Cletus: Ah, but that's when I knew you were the one!

Cassie: Surprise!

Dinah: What's going on?

Stephanie [handing out cake, party hats]: We wanted to formally invite you into the club.

Dinah: And what club is this?

Raven: The "I was adopted and/or am related to one or more terrifying supervillains" club.

Dinah: ...Thanks guys. Really.

Stephanie: Wow what are the odds your bio mom and your adopted mom had the same powers?

Dinah: They're cousins apparently. I got my abilities from... her side of the family. But my mom, Dinah, the woman who raised me and who gave me her name, she's still my mom.

Cassie: Of course she is. Now you got two moms!

Dinah: Yeah... and also a dad who would do literally anything for me unless I stop him. I guess I should feel blessed.

Raven: So is your dad a demon too or...?

Dinah: Nah, he's just a regular serial killer like Zsasz.

Cassie: But didn't he survive a fight with Lobo? That doesn't seem regular to me?

Dinah: Yeah he's got something metahuman going on but like all that's new. Dad... he calls it a monster. But uh... well, Three. I have three moms. The monster, Carnage, is a she. Batman says she's an alien.

Stephanie: Like Superman?

Dinah: No, definitely not like Superman.
