1, 2, 6, and 19
1: What is your #1 favorite anime? lately I say it’s the Monogatari Series is my favorite series when its airing, but when its not airing and i remember all the sexual deviancy i say its Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
2: Has an anime ever made you cry? let’s see what I remember: Cowboy Bebop, Beck, Gunbuster, Aria The Animation, Aria The Natural, Aria The Origination, Aria The Avennire, the 3-minute TV Aria special probably, The History of Trunks, Millenium Actress, Code Geass, Monogatari Series, The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki made me bawl my fuckin eyes out every time i watched it, Silver Spoon, i’m like 90% that Kemono Friends made me cry at some point, Kyousougiga, Dragon Ball GT: Gokuu Gaiden! Yuuki no Akashi wa Suushinchuu idk why but this obscure ass GT special taking place like 100 years after DBGT and in it Pan dies at like age 113 or whatever and it deadass made me cry when i was a kid, Lucky Star, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Ga Rei Zero, Summer Wars, K-On!!, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia probably, Witchblade, Bokura Wa Minna Kawai-sou, Ushio To Tora like every time Ushio cried i cried
Your Name got me just a little bit, but Garden of Words is my big Shinkai tearjerker, A Place Further Than The Universe, Dragon Quest: Your Story, Takagi-San, Ride Your Wave got me with that PA announcement like that fucked me up, the Valkyria Chronicles anime, Angel Beats, planetarian, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure part 2, i know for a fact the Chobits manga made me cry idk if the anime did but maybe, and perplexingly there was this kinda bad little known series called Kyoushirou to Towa no Sora or Shattered Angels and somehow despite minimal investment in anything happening in it, the ending fucked me up and had me crying.
honestly i cry at everything, and there’s probably a lot of shows i missed. like i can’t actually recall a time an FMA series made me cry but... cmon you know FMA has made me cry at some point
6: List your top 5 anime OSTs
Bakemonogatari Kill La Kill Cowboy Bebop Aria Gurren Lagann
19: What is your favorite slice of life anime? if I don’t count Monogatari for being primarily supernatural mystery, and don’t count Aria for only being slice of life if you live on a terraformed Mars and work as a Neo-Venetian gondolier, then maybe Azumanga Daioh? Or Ouran. Super nostalgic for K-On and Lucky Star. Honestly discounting Aria which I guess I didn’t need to do, that’s a tough one.
