you're so right. by skimping on Renamon's evolution sequences they made hers the most enjoyable to watch by far, for animation nerds and furries alike

It’s one of those things that I don’t remember until someone shows it to me and a long-dormant path of synapses fires off in my brain. i was obsessed. couldn’t tell you the first thing about the plot! but man, that era of CGI was gorgeous and i remember it digging in deeper, emotionally, than i was expecting from a cartoon. i need to slot it in with my Max Headroom rewatch and fully commit to ‘wait this was for kids?’ cyberpunk nostalgia
