Also this is 100% a Braham line people can fight me.]
Braham’s gotten used to Terra’s quirks, over the years. Specially - the habits she’s developed to keep herself sane.
Cooking seems to be her biggest de-stressor - so finding her in what serves as the ‘kitchen’ for Jora’s Keep, working away, doesn’t surprise him at all.
She doesn’t notice him enter, at first - too occupied carefully lifting another batch of fresh baked pies from the oven to carry them over to her work table, making it seem effortless despite how heavy and unwieldy the tray must be.
Braham grins and steps further in as she sets to whipping up another batch of dough, putting more weight behind his steps so that she knows he’s there, without startling her.
Terra just flashes a quick grin over her shoulder, still working at the dough - she has flour specked over her cheeks, all over her arms, and he wonders just how long she’s been at it, this morning.
He stops right behind her, close enough that her back brushes him when she moves, bending to speak in her ear.
“What’s cooking good looking?”
Terra’s startled burst of laughter is worth every ounce of cheese dripping from the words - she even stops her kneading, turning in the circle of his arms to grin up at him.
“You are ridiculous.” she states, another giggle slipping through, cheeks flushed blue and glow pulsing.
“Yet somehow, you still love me.” Braham grins cheekily, happy when her blush grows brighter, reaching up to brush a petal from her face, “Seriously, it smells great - do you need a hand?”
“If you feel up to taking over kneading duty, by all means...” Terra laughs again, patting him on the chest and leaving a flour mark, “I certainly won’t complain about having such a handsome helper.”
Okay, now it’s his turn to blush, growling a little as he leans closer to the Sylvari.
“I think I can do that.” he mumbles, kissing her laughing mouth.
