The first part is about Christmas and includes an anecdote about being a sullen elf. The next part talks about the first time he got drunk and his thoughts about his teenage virginity. After that it’s relatable things about texting. And finally a few snippets about vacation travel.

Has anyone else noticed this trend? It's the same thing with people who ramble on about "emotional intelligence" often being egotistical and emotionally abusive to the people who actually know them.

My parents are from Newcastle and Essex, but I was brought up in Scotland and consider myself Scottish. I have spent the past thirty years living in England and Wales. I am currently back in Scotland.
My accent does not know what to do. It is currently zipping from Perthshire to the Home Counties and back in between individual words. Any sentence soon I expect it to break down completely and break out in Geordie.
