Day One of The Yeet/Noot Experiment
Ok yes this is really weird but I’ve begun responding to uncomfortable questions or ones that I don’t want to answer with some form of yeet or noot, as I was intrigued about what the responses would be. Alrighty here we go... [Format is what I said, how they responded, and my response ( Disclaimer: I didn’t say my response aloud, just thought it)]
Hypothesis: People outside of the internet will not react in a good way to me saying yeet or noot.
Experimentation:
(Stern “Yeet.”): “...That’s not even are word, what’s wrong with you?” (I beg to differ you lil shit of course yeet’s a word. )
(Energetic “Yeety-yeet!”): *disappointed glare* (Ok chill there buddy)
“So yeet starts with “ye” similar to the word yes, and noot starts with the letters n and o, thus yeet means yes and noot means no!” (Good try and nice logic, but no. You tried)
( After saying yeet to a serious question): “Amanda why would you say that, you’re really mean!” (.....What??)
(noooooOOT) *walks away*, (*offended princey noises* Fight me, bro)
(silly nOoOt): “How dare you laugh at me! I’m not here to f**k around, be serious.”, ( *deep inhale* .....whaT??)
At least two more stares and backs turned on me
Mostly just confused faces
Conclusion: People do not react kindly to randomly saying “yeet /noot”. It appears they most often take it as an insult?
Okey dokey that was Day One of the Yeet/Noot Experiment. Should I continue...this is amusing me deeply.
