This is legitimately useful reframing. A while ago I started replacing the word "cop" in my vocabulary with "a man with a gun." It really puts things into perspective.

It makes it very clear what you're saying. I can call a man with a gun to threaten or hurt someone mildly inconveniencing me. You're not calling the cops, you're calling A MAN WITH A GUN into a situation that does not warrant a firearm handled by a volatile lunatic who will not be held accountable for his actions.

Leading up to the ceremony ‣ knowing they would not be thrilled, the couple is not informed of the arrangement until it is set in stone and only few weeks away ‣ A had to be locked up and guarded in the days leading up to the wedding to make sure they don‘t run away ‣ B had to physically be dragged to A‘s kingdom

Right before the ceremony ‣ A threatens to stab their promised spouse upon meeting them at the altar ‣ B is threatened by their parents about making a scene during the wedding ‣ both expect the other to be much older than themself, arrogant, or otherwise undesireable ‣ “Is that a knife in your sleeve? Give me that, you are not killing your spouse before the vows are even read!”

During the ceremony ‣ the promised couple meets at the altar… and both wonder why their parents failed to mention that their promised spouse is H O T ‣ both relaxing as they make little comments during the ceremony, matching each other's freaks ‣ both only having prepared passive aggressively insulting vows and either reading them with matching smirks or improvising new ones

During the reception ‣ the newly weds ignore almost everyone else because conversation is so good between them ‣ intense chemistry, to a point that the new in-laws fear the couple will sneak into the bushes together ‣ “You're not gonna like this, but up until an hour ago I was sure I was gonna have to kill you to be able to escape.”     “Oh no, me too. Papercraft commission of Frieren! I love this series, so I was extra excited to make this piece. ^_^

Since I had free choice of what spell to depict, I picked the Vollzanbel/black hole spell from the big magic fight in episode 25, because I thought it would look especially rad made out of shimmery holographic paper. Plus, I also got to make flying rocks! Bursts of fiery light! Lots of drama!! And, my favorite part - I got to go super, wildly detailed with Frieren's hair!

For the past year or so it's been Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji from "The Untamed". And I've got a couple Tavs from BG3 that I've noodled around with, even tho I haven't really written much for them

Usually I'm writing on my couch but lately I've been taking a chair out onto my balcony and writing outside. I will probably do this until later in the summer when the nasty yellowjacket wasps come out :p But for now it's nice!

I probably just read or watch stuff that's brain candy, media that I don't really need to think about. Honestly I'll also come up with a decent amount of ideas when I'm out for a run, or taking the dog for a walk.

I had a vague idea of interactions between Mikey and Leo during Leo's depression spiral of 2k3 season 4. I think I futzed around with it a little bit and now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I did write one or two short scenes, but it hasn't gone anywhere. (yet??)

However for the current fic I'm working on, the title basically wrote itself and I've actually managed to come up with titles for all the chapters, which is unprecedented. It will Never Happen Again XD
