As a Knight Enchanter, Veryien won’t just summon a sword.
I’m playing with the idea of her summoning other weapons, such as whips, shields, spears, etc.
If they can summon a sword of pure energy, why not other weapons?

The Duel
Lakkam replied with a soft nod as he stepped forward and took out his weapon, a wand that he hid within his highly decorated flute, elegantly placing it by his side and bowing to Isilmesar, raising only his head as he looked up at him through long fallen raven hair, a playful gleam in his eyes that only he could see. Isil's dagger was already out and hovering about as he bowed as well, a brow arching upwards in question but his own eyes flashed with excitement. His hands began to fidget, spells coming to mind, yet fading fast as he waited for the start of the match to be called.
Kalistine watched with interest, though not as much as Corinth was. Veryien stood by Kalistine's side and observed the match through her own means, which made Mehera curious as to how she was even going to spectate such a thing. "Remember, no blood shed, and no hitting between the legs, we have standards right? FIGHT." Tylan yelled, throwing his hand down between the two and backing away quickly, standing next to Corinth now. As soon as Tylan called it, Lakkam quickly threw his weapon out in front of him, quickly drawing some kind of symbol, something Isilmesar may have caught glimpses of before. As he did this, a glyph appeared below Isilmesar, one that shone brightly. He would only have a couple of seconds to maneuver out of this before it trapped him in his place. If caught, Lakkam would follow up with another attack. It was as Isil thought Lakkam would open with, and he wasted no time in fadestepping to the side, maintaining distance. From there, he swung his arm upwards, materialising a line of flame heading towards Lakkam. Corinth furrowed her brow in concern, turning to their other companions, though her eyes scarcely left the duel itself.
"You said no bloodshed, but nothing about being set on fire..." she spoke quietly. "They'll be fine. There isn't much else Isil can do to fight anyway." Kalistine assured her, her own eyes glued to the duel. "They know each other fairly well in terms of combat, so this may go one for quite some time. How it will end...I do not know." Veryien said with a smile. Lakkam did exactly as Isil did, fadestepping away from the flame that headed his way. As he reappeared, he aimed his weapon out again and started to hurl forward blasts of pure magical enemy, enough to send a person back a few feet. He sent these in one after the other in succession, each with graceful and subtle flicks of his wrist. Isil matched the first blasts with fireballs of his own, creating explosions and clouds of smoke, enough to hide in, but also concealed the other blasts that he had failed to hit. He dodged a few, turning and spinning as they came, though this didn't last long, as one caught him in the back, sending him flying a few feet and landing on his face. He wasted no time in pushing himself back onto his feet however.
Lakkam watched as Isilmesar went down, feeling a sense of pride in getting the first hit in. It was then readied himself to draw another glyph, aiming to place it at Isil's ankle to once again take him down to the ground, or at least immobilise him. Tylan was watching carefully, if he had learned anything about Isilmesar so far, it was that he was stubborn, this went for any battle also. Mehera was impressed, it was rare for her to see mages battle, she was always so used to more physical fighting.
Isil was quick to fadestep away from the whip, knowing already how much of a nuisance it was to get hit by such a skill. With it in play already, Isil would have to stay on his toes. Using his arm, Isil made several cutting motions through the air, each in a different direction, and each cut outlined in arcs of flame that travelled towards Lakkam. There wasn't much heat behind the attacks, but it would be enough to cause discomfort and irritation should they reach their mark. "I haven't seen that one before." Corinth remarked. "He likes to take care in what skills he uses in each situation. A lesson he learned sometime ago when he almost set the entire house on fire." Kalistine replied, making Corinth snort. Much like Corinth, Lakkam had not seen this particular move before. His eyes opened wide for a moment and before he could react, he was hit by each of the arcs, each hitting harder than the last. After the final one he was launched to the floor, landing flat on his back, letting out a loud grunt as his weapon launched out of his hand. "Match!" Tylan yelled out, seeing Lakkam's weapon out of his hand, rendering himself defenceless against the mage. It was a time like this when it really showed who was more experienced in battle.
Lakkam, Veryien, Mehera and Tylan belong to me, while Isilmesar and Kalistine belong to @pandursprose
The Regal Shieldmaiden
Veryien, as a Knight Enchanter, has no need for another weapon, as she conjures her weapon to be that of a katana-esque sword, wielding it as such, normally with two hands.
The majority of Veryien’s attire is based off of the concept art for Vivienne.
