Lately, I’ve been a bit obsessed with the word “vessel” – it’s been emphasized way too often on the show. I’m not an English speaker and had no idea that “vessel” could mean a ship or even an aircraft! Linguistics is amazing.
The DB apparently have a special fondness for this word, too. They even wrote a short film with that title!
Vessel (2012)
In this short film, an airplane (VESSEL!) was taken over by extraterrestrials. The alien first poked holes in the foreheads of the passengers and crew members, and then injected its larvae into them. Only a little girl managed to hide and escape this grim fate... but not for long. Everyone on board had turned into aliens in disguise, so the poor girl shouldn't have trusted that kind flight attendant anymore…
The plane turned into some kind of Trojan horse: an aircraft (aka vessel) full of people (aka vessels) who carries some alien invaders in their bodies! Such a fun landing is coming 👽
