Restoring my precious for my shoot with @yiazyang today!! I spent the last 48 hrs doing non stop sewing and broke my machine but luckily the super awesome @ladypendragon was able to let me use her machine to finish up the cape at the last second! For the sunwell! Should I make a cape for this cosplay? I've been eyeing the Trial of the Grand Crusader cape pattern by @cestlasara which also comes in blue (Permafrost Cape) from the Cache of Al'akir. The deep blue cape doesn't quite match the teal of t3 though. Thoughts? #transformationtuesday Prior to this build, all my other cosplays took a month or less to make. I would get inspiration and then build the costume or creation while it's still fresh on my mind. Even though this cosplay is pretty comfortable and easy to move around in, I learned to budget an extra 15-30 mins in order to get from point A to point B at conventions. The extra time is to navigate the crowds, take photos or be photographed. I have no plans for a next cosplay yet and am just enjoying the time off for having a normal life. 😊 I am extremely thankful that I had the luxury of time, money, apartment space, and dedication to be able to produce this. I became a one person sweat shop for over half the year (and I know others have spent longer amounts of time). My full time job contract ended and I did not have another job immediately lined up. I was unemployed and job hunting for a month. I prioritized the project build schedule over friends and family. Despite all of this, I think the experience was worth it.
