(Note:i was not actually hit by a car, but at this point that would be preferable)
hello, again! once again, life has decided to kick me DIRECTLY in the crotch repeatedly forever. i am currently staying at my grandparents’, since my lease was up at my old place and my landlord booted us out as quickly as he legally could because the place was a fucking wreck and rather than, you know, hire expensive professionals to completely gut the place (that was built in 1899) like it needs to be, he wanted to move in a single contractor to do the work for decreased rent instead. yay!
i expected to be here for around two months while my new housemates and i looked for a new place. which, they found one! good news finally! bad news! bad news! it was all very sudden and i have had almost no time to prepare! on top of that, my place of work will be closing for remodeling in a week, and while i should be going on employment during that time, i will most likely still need help to keep afloat.
even more bad news! in order to facilitate having a roof over our heads, i had to pay the deposit, and i have to pay the first month’s rent by the 5th of August! which means i have completely exhausted every bit of money i had at my disposal, which means i now have to reschedule/cancel my dog, Sookie’s, surgery to remove a growth on her nipple and also the pesky uterus that most likely caused it!
oh, and the estimate has actually gone up since the last one, so i’ll potentially have to pay EVEN MORE than i expected!!!
so at this point i’ll be taking donations for... everything. i’ve put down my deposit, i should have rent myself by the 5th, but there’s still... a lot i need. like a bed! because i left behind the broken-down twin mattress i’ve been sleeping on since i was 15. and a dresser! so i don’t have to live out of boxes! and surgery for the tiny disaster creature that i love more than my own life!
TL;DR my life is imploding and exploding simultaneously, i will be moving, and i need help with basic home necessities (a bed and dresser, an air mattress for until i can actually get a bed, etc) as well as starting from scratch to raise money for my dog to get surgery for the likely cancerous growth on her belly!
i know i’ve had to do this several times before, and i guarantee i am just as tired of it as y’all are, but a even a dollar or just a reblog helps. thanks so much!
