My Cat Needs Surgery!

My 8yo rescue cat Shadow recently developed a large lump on his leg. We saw the vet yesterday and the surgeon is rather optimistic about being able to cut it away. His blood work came back clean so we're in the clear to schedule. I'm waiting for the techs to get back to me about the estimate.

Unfortunately I'm a poor, disabled self-employed worker and surgeries like these range from 500USD to +3k USD. I do not make a lot. Surgery reaching/surpassing 3k is close to my 2025 profits — that's how little I make given my business expenses and my limitations.

I'm opening up my Kofi for any donations and offering art in return. At the current moment, I can only offer portrait art of humanoids. These are not commissions, but a thank you for donating.

Anything above 15USD can get a black&white sketch portrait

Anything above 25USD can get a flat coloured sketch portrait

she needs very expensive dental work done, and she has a sensitive stomach that needs to be looked at. i'm not sure how close the goal we'll get, but ANYTHING helps. any leftover money will go towards getting my other cat, socks, an also needed checkup. he's disabled with anxiety and likes following me around everywhere i go lol (here's him during ghost story!)

Ive never made a post like this before, but our little man is in trouble. A dear friend of mine just got dinged with $4700+ medical bill to treat Toker's renal failure.

Toker is only 7 years old and the light of Max's life and an absolute delight of a cat, we're both utterly heartbroken at the prospect of losing him.
