I did the colored one yesterday and the sketches at 3 am after watching the movie LOL. You can see as soon as I saw they could have snouts I gave Cimera a shout instead.
The nature of being a homestuck is when you're handed adorable new sea monsters/merfolk you HAVE to reskin your seadwellers.
Jaikeb runs off from his princely duties to the surface where he meets Erebus, an orphaned merkid living in an abandoned lighthouse filled with books.
Jaikeb's brother, Cimera, insists the help of a very grumpy merman to find Jaikeb. As difficult as Vetris is to work with, he's the only one Ci knows who's been to the surface.
Hyjinx ensues.
