Kinktober day 10&14: bus/car and clothed dom/naked sub, loustat, explicit, 1050 words.
hello, hello, hello!
My kinktober fic for today was inspired by an idea I had after seeing Lestat's incredible boots that have the words hate me on their soles. How nice would it be if those boots were dangling off of Louis' shoulders? 🔥
@rdepicas generously and sweetly drew the idea I had to make it a reality and I have the companion fic to go with it! Thank you so much for the beautiful and perfect art. ❤️

Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles. BOOKMarius/BOOKDaniel. Fearplay, gore (w/ vampire healing), blood, imagine if stabbing someone in the throat was fluffy and a little angsty
***
Daniel’s heart was beating fast. Someone was following him. He knew, though he couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary as he left the little souvenir shop he’d ducked into. There was a presence, and it had been on his trail for nearly an hour. He was no all-powerful ancient, but he knew when one was around. The last time young ones were followed by ancients, a lot of people had caught on fire.
There was no one to help him, either. What vampire would help him, anyway, even if one was around? Anyone in their right mind would run from this thing. That is, if it hadn’t already locked onto them. Daniel was sure this one had locked on to him. If he ran, he wasn’t at all sure how far he’d get.
Then he felt something. A heat inside him. “Fuck,” he hissed out loud, glancing wildly around him, as if there was anything, anything at all that could possibly save him. The smouldering feeling intensified, and the tips of his fingers were unbearably hot. Suddenly, it didn’t matter if it would save him or not, Daniel ran.
With every bit of his vampiric speed, he raced between mortals, trying to outrun the flames that would surely begin to flicker soon.
Then, without preamble, he was slammed into by another immortal. It hit him from the side and he was sent nearly a hundred feet, crashed into the wall at the back of an alleyway. Between his undead body and the strength of the other, he actually punched a hole in the bricks. This was the most physical pain he’d ever been in since his turning. His head felt quite literally split, somewhere in his skull, and something in his shoulder was surely broken. He couldn’t help the whimper that escaped him and the tears that rose in his eyes.
A tall figure loomed before him. It pulled back the hood of a cloak-like coat to reveal a face. Unnatural marble skin framed by a head of long, straight, pale hair. The thing was not human. And it was far more monstrous than Daniel had had time to become.
He could feel the back of his skull already starting to knit back together, but pain still throbbed through his whole body as he lay sprawled against the rubble. He tried to twitch an arm or a leg, test his ability to run, but as soon as he did, the cold eyes above him flashed, and he felt that terrible heat in the center of his chest.
His attacker flashed forward and slammed into his chest. Daniel’s head knocked back on the bricks again. And there was a flash of darkness as though, if he’d been mortal, he would have blacked out.
“Please,” he rasped, trying to make his eyes focus on the ancient vampire above him.
“‘Please,’ what?” The other said, voice as cold as his skin. “Do you want me to tear you apart, or simply snuff you out with the Fire?”
Daniel imagined it for a second. Either way, and his life would be ended. For real this time. The thing he’d feared nearly every day before his turning. That terrible stopping that would leave a void where his consciousness had been. Tears ran down his face.
Then the monster atop him moved in a flash. Daniel tried to yell in shock, but the claws got to his throat before he could make a sound. Four sharp nails dug into the flesh of his neck, punctured it, forced their way into the skin and muscle. The scream Daniel tried to let out was very, very real, but only came out as a sick gurgle as he felt the blood flow freely, soaking his neck and his shirt.
But, almost as soon as it had happened the monster atop him had pressed close, some of the tension gone from that cold body.
“Shhh,” Marius crooned to him. He pulled Daniel into his arms. “Oh, my love. You’re all right.”
Daniel couldn’t even nod. He choked over and over, uncontrollably, as his neck spurted blood onto the front of Marius’ coat. His arms twitched weakly in an attempt to claw at Marius’ front.
Marius’ mouth was at his neck. And, Daniel noticed, he licked up a very significant portion of Daniel’s blood before he bit into his hand and began gently massaging his own into Daniel’s wounds.
They sat there for the many minutes it took for Marius’ blood to soak into his and do its healing work.
Eventually, Daniel could speak again. “You could have left me longer,” he rasped. “I would have been okay. Could have taken me back to the house and clawed me open a bit more.”
Marius huffed. “Reckless boy,” he said. “I think you got quite enough of what you wanted.” A little shudder ran through him. “I don’t know if I can get that close to using the Fire Gift on you again, Daniel. That was too real, that frightened me.”
Daniel grinned at him. “Frightened me too.” He had his own shiver, but it was a good one. “Fuck, that was good. I wasn’t sure you would.”
Marius scowled at him. “Daniel.”
“I know.” Daniel scrambled further into Marius’ lap and began pressing kisses to his cold cheeks. “I know, baby. I’m okay, though.” One more kiss, this one to Marius’ mouth. “I’m here. I’m okay.”
Marius nodded, and buried his face in Daniel’s blood-stained neck. Taking in the scent of his blood, Daniel knew. The scent of his life. He pressed the side of his head to his lover’s. “Thanks,” he murmured. “For trying it.”
“Can we go back to the house, darling?” Marius asked. It was so odd, to be asked for anything resembling permission, that Daniel’s jaw nearly dropped. He heard the forced nature of the attempted wry humor in the next words: “Are you quite satisfied?”
“Yeah, baby,” he said, immediately. He’d clearly pushed his caretaker a bit too far with this game. “Let’s get you home.”
Marius stood, then helped Daniel to his feet. Even with the help, Daniel swayed dizzily.
“Shit,” he laughed, breathless, and hung tightly to Marius’ arm. Even once he’d caught his balance, he still felt loopy. “You can be scary when you want to be.”
“Yes,” Marius murmured fondly, nuzzling into his neck. “You may be the only one who’s never seen me that way, my darling.”
“I never could, really,” Daniel said, turning to fully embrace him. “I know you’re a big dope.”
He felt Marius’ indignant huff, and pulled back to look at him.
Daniel gave him unabashed puppy dog eyes. “Kiss?” He’d shaken Marius, and wanted to make up for it.
“You impossible thing,” Marius said. But he leaned forward and covered Daniel’s lips with his own bloody ones. Daniel sighed happily at the taste of his own blood, and went about licking it out of Marius’ mouth.
“Well, you know what they say,” he murmured eventually as he pulled back. “Everyone knows I’ve gone mad.”
“Mhm.”
“C’monnnn,” he simpered. “Anyway. Carry me home?”
He got a real smile for that one. Marius, always the gentle parent. Especially for Daniel. “Of course.”

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: Louis gets two Lestats for the price of one
𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐓:
“Are you coming to bed, mon cher?” Lestat’s voice called out.
“Yeah, in a minute,” Louis muttered.
He wedged a finger between the pages to mark his spot, and he moved absently down the short hallway, turning off the gas lamps and pulling the skylight shut to snuff out the narrow strip of white morning light creeping across the carpet. His eyes drifted back to the book as he shuffled to the bedroom, the rustling of his slippers the only sound in the quiet townhouse.
He looked up as he entered and gasped in shock, stopping dead in his tracks. The book slid from his hands, landing on the carpet with a dull thud.
There were two Lestats in the room! Two identical pairs of iridescent blue eyes, turning towards him expectantly, two sets of full lips curving in a fond smile.
He squeezed his eyes shut, shook his head vigorously, and then opened them again. But the image hadn’t shifted. There were still two Lestats, bathed in the soft, yellow glow of the bedside lamps, identical shoulder-length hair brushed to a sheen, wearing the exact same loose silk trousers and matching robe, artfully left open to reveal a long stretch of creamy pale skin.
“Ah, finally,” the Lestat closest to him groused, seductively perched on the edge of the mattress.
The second one rose from the vanity with slow, languid movements. “I thought you would never put that infernal book down,” he added, lips quirking into an artful pout.
Louis’s mouth dropped open, and he let out a choked laugh that sounded dangerously close to hysterical.
