Photograph by Ivelina Pavlova I took this photo during an assignment in RetroWorld, Hadsten, Denmark. The location was a bed&breakfast hotel which interior resembled The Overlook Hotel from Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”. The task was to take the photographs with minimum preparation (no styling nor lights or directing the models) and to present Noir genre the way we see it.

The photograph was part of the exhibition Nordic Noir, presented in collaboration with fashion photographer Max Rosborg, VIA Film & Transmedia and the students from the summer school.
