the fact that vickie was cut from the epilogue hurts more than anything

No, it’s fine.

It’s just kind of weird that when you’re making ship posts Lucas is ignored and Dustin is either ignored or headcanoned as aro/ace despite the fact that they’re both been in relationships. I’m sure none of that is because they’re the most visibly marginalized members of the show.

It’s definitely not strange how the entire fandom said it should’ve been Erica taken by Vecna instead of Holly even though we know Erica is a very strong character comparatively and since season one we’ve had evidence of Holly being able to sense the upside down. We don’t have to think too hard about why you’d rather watch a little black girl be brutalized instead of a little white girl even though that makes no sense.

We don’t have to adress the fact that despite the fact we have a gay man, lesbian woman, and bisexual woman in the show your only cries for diversity is to add more queer people and not more people of color despite the fact we only have three people of color in the series. and only one of them is a main character.

We definitely shouldn’t question the fact that you think Will not having a boyfriend by the finale is stereotypical and not good representation but the fact that the one hispanic character in the show (who doesn’t even have a last name) has no personality outside of smoking weed makes complete sense and shouldn’t be acknowledged.

Obviously, none of this is a larger symptom of a issue within this fandom that prioritizes white, able bodied characters and then uses queer identity as a shield in order to still feel like they’re smarter and more woke then everyone else.
