Another piece for this years @victuri-big-bang. This time it is for @yurionice-rps amazingly written story When The Wind Met The River. You can read the first chapter here. Make sure to follow them as new chapters will come out weekly.
It was great working with such a wonderful and kind writer who really inspired me with their story!
SO, here’s a bunch of art I made for @phoenixwaller fanfic Empty Ice for the @victuri-big-bang , one for each chapter ;3 you can click on each image to see from what chapter they are from, and the last 3 ones are from chapters 13, 14 and 15.
Although some arts don’t feature victuri especifically, they are important moments for Yuuri focused on what happened to Victor at the start of this fic, that’s why they are here. Also Yuuri and Yurio relationship in this fic is super cute so I had to add some ;3c
Check my other post with my nsfw arts for this fic in @wherelivesthepornandgore my nsfw side blog :P
“Then let us make it happen," he said. Yuuri could only nod his assent as he reached for the Prince's hand. Instead of a handshake like Yuuri expected, the Prince bypassed his hand and locked his fingers around Yuuri's forearm. He held on tight and so, Yuuri returned it. They were supposed to be equals in this and even if Prince Victor was to be King one day, until that time Yuuri will not let him get a step ahead. Or so he hoped.” from chapter 2 of if there's a will, there's a way by @katzuyas
this is my drawing for the wonderful @katzuyas‘s fic if there’s a will, there’s a way for the @victuri-big-bang. it’s an amazing and fantastic story!! click here to read it on ao3! this was my very first big bang and i had a lot of fun working with her on this! thank you very much!! c:
So these are… some of the arts I made for @n3rdlif343va for the @victuri-big-bang, more will be published tomorrow. Also expect certain moments will be drawn separately from the bang. I didn’t have the time to draw all scenes I wanted without killing my wrist. So I’ll wait. Even though I really want to go Viktor Extra over the fic that brought me to one of the loves of my life. This fic brought us together. This fic is the reason we started talking. I got one of the most important people in my life thanks to this event. I can’t tell you how lucky and thankful I am. Honestly our story is as fluffy as anything we could art or write, isn’t it, my love? I hope I can always make you feel cherished, lovely. The fic itself is an alternate meeting fic. A very cute and lovely idea of a different meeting. Please read her fic with my art!!! And don’t forget this collection for more creations!
With thousands of subscribers and expectations piling on, Youtuber Victor Nikiforov is starting to lose his joy for the hobby that he once loved. At least, until he strikes up a friendship with a fellow vlogger who calls himself Katsudon, who never shows his face in his videos, and who might be exactly what Victor needs to face the truth he's been trying to avoid.

It lays in the palm of his hand, mocking him. A beautiful flower petal that seems to gleam in the moonlight, a piece of beauty in absolute stillness.
Yuuri shifts a little, sitting on his bed propped up by pillows, feeling his heart shatter to pieces inside him even as he rearranges his expression into a blank one. He’s already known it for a while, but seeing the proof makes it all the more real.
He’s always known Viktor Nikiforov will be his death, ever since he’s seen the Russian skater twirling on the ice, panting after coming out of a Biellmann spin, face flushed but smile proud and chest high - despite trying to convince himself otherwise.

Summary: Yuuri and Victor begin the Sochi Grand Prix Series at Skate America in Detroit. When Victor becomes entranced by Yuuri's skating during warmups, he finds himself moving too close and causes them to collide. Their journey starts with a crash, but along the way, they learn what it really means to fall.
Excerpt:
“Then why are you still doing it?” It took Yuuri a few seconds to decide how to ask this question. He had long admired Victor for the way Victor seemed to love what he did, but Yuuri wanted Victor to be happy. Not seeing Victor on the ice would be crushing, a thought that Yuuri dutifully kept to himself knowing that Victor’s happiness meant more than Yuuri’s childish idolism.
Seven words had completely rocked Victor’s world. Yuuri hadn’t been upset or accusatory, he simply put the option on the table, presenting it to Victor as an open-ended question. Victor had never considered himself worthy outside of skating, but Yuuri’s inquisitive face and softly prodding question made him pause. Why was he still doing something that was becoming such a struggle? Shrugging his shoulders, Victor gave the only answer he had. “I am skating, Yuuri, that’s what I am.”
Yuuri’s heart shattered in his chest. Glancing up, eyes roaming over the collection of posters of the man who was now so much more than an abstract inspiration, Yuuri felt his guilt pouring over the pieces of his heart. Never in the time that he had been following Victor had he considered the way being an idol, a living legend, and an assumed playboy would make Victor feel. Pushing back his tears, he lowered his eyes again, finding Victor buried in the back of Makkachin’s neck. “You’re wrong, you know,” Yuuri saw Victor shake his head and pushed on, “Victor, you are a wonderful person. Caring, thoughtful, creative. You are supportive of other skaters, even if you can’t remember JJ’s name,” taking a breath, Yuuri smiled when Victor chuckled, “you are Makkachin’s daddy, and the love of my life, an incessant bookworm, witty, and smart, and a million other things that have nothing to do with skating. Skating was blessed with your talent, yes, but you are so much more than that.”
