Can you tell us more about how the meets and greets are structured?

I don’t have any friends who did it for Direct Questioning lol, but I saw some folks on twitter who did; first of all VidCon send an email to sign up for the M&G, and you have to be registered for VidCon Now itself to apply for it. Then the M&G itself - by the looks of it they are being done through an app called Chatalyze. You join a queue in the app, the creator works through the queue, it goes to the next person as soon as the last one is done. The app snaps a ‘selfie’ 10 seconds into the call for you to pose for, if ya want, and I thiiiiiiink it records the call for you? (Though, of course you can just screen record it yourself.) Some people’s photos are really quite cute:

I’m not sure how long they are; I assumed 30ish seconds or so but I saw someone’s screenshot of their session that said 00:44 at the top so maybe it’s a little longer? (He must have been at it a looooong time.) 

I think there were 500 slots available for Sean initially but I don’t know if all 500 people who got one of those slots ended up getting the actual M&G; I’m not certain how it works but I saw some rumblings on twitter of people saying they’d booked a slot then got an email saying they hadn’t been successful, so IDK. I *do* know that if D and/or P were to sign up, 500 slots (if they even did that many) would go in less than a heartbeat. :/

I know it’s not the same as a real M&G, but it’s a really nice idea for these weird ass times we live in now.
