MMm Rising sun
Long time coming, but here’s the second of the fake title cards for “The Firelands.” My idea for the fire spirits is that they resurrect, their ashes returning to the Firelands upon death where there’s this pits of embers for the newborns to stay in until their old/healthy enough to climb out and begin searching for food on their own. These pits are guarded by some of the elders and it’s some of the foxes jobs to make sure there’s a constant supply of food for the newborns to sustain themselves on. Mainly charcoal. So in this act--unable to resist the cute, little, flaming fluffs--Hat Kid helps find lumps of charcoal across parts of the Firelands to feed them. This would allow some early exploration and teasing as to what kinds of obstacles and enemies she would face in this area.
Quick note that the newborns would also be pretty much living fire with a weak, physical form at this point so, unless you can sustain a good flame in your own hands, it would be better not to pick them up for both your safeties...
can someone make a mod for Skyrim where the guards are all just Javert from Les Miserables? because let’s be honest he is the perfect embodiment of those damn guards
Matou no Houkai
A number of games fashioned themselves after Konami’s Castlevania, but fewer mimicked its sequel. Matou no Houkai (“Collapse of the Demon Tower”): The Hero of Babel is one of the few games that very obviously patterns itself after Simon’s Quest, right down to the similar character sprites, though it’s still original enough to stand on its own. This was also the last game developed by Carry Lab, who had previously worked on Mystery Quest.

Is Numbuh 86 in moonbase
She is, along with Numbuh 362 and a few other key operatives. The invasion came with little warning, as mentioned when discussing the World's Collide comic, so while a handful of operatives were able to make it back to Earth and report the situation, there wasn't enough time to evacuate everyone. Neither Numbuhs 86 and 362 are the type to readily abandon ship, so they hung back to buy others that time to escape instead.
Although there have been a few successful supply drops, reestablishing contact with the Moonbase has been a constant challenge--even for the Plumbers with all of their tech and space-fighting capabilities. For the most part, Fuse has successfully isolated the planetary bodies in Earth's system. Since the Moonbase is full of human children, many of them with modest/strong IE, it's believed that those trapped at the Moonbase have been able to hold out. However, they're also on a clock. Not only do they have to worry about the spread of fusion matter taking over the moon, eventually, they will run out of supplies.
I imagine the first successful mission to truly reach the Moonbase would occur after the events of the original game (post-"Fuse No More") and somewhere around the establishment of the Academy. After stopping Fuse's manifestation on Earth, the Fusion Fighters would try to take back as much as they could from the victory since it was the first time that Fuse himself had directly been "weakened." They figured that, whether he needed time to recover or was now more distracted than ever by the fighting on Earth, this was the moment his attention would slip just enough to send reinforcements to the moon and invite more Plumbers from outside of the system to join the fight. (It's also at this point where we begin to see other characters from various isolated parts of the world--Finn and Jake from Ooo, Chowder and Schnitzel from Marzipan, Van Kleiss from Abysus, etc.--start to appear, hinting that Fuse did lose some ability to keep those locations closed off.)
Mr. Boss would also play a big role in things. He may hate the KND, but there's no way he'd accept his daughter being stranded. It was mostly his rockets that would breach the blockades in order to drop supplies, a good chunk of those supplies being Numbuh 86's favorite things or items he believed she could use to free the Moonbase on her end. People were afraid of what might happen to the Earth as a consequence if Planet Fusion absorbed the moon, but it was mainly his pushing things along that made the Moonbase a bigger priority than they would've treated it as otherwise.
Because of being stuck on the Moonbase, Numbuh 86 doesn't know that there's been a halt on decommissionings until at least after the war ends. Those on the Moonbase aren't really enforcing them either because of their desperate situation, but she doesn't understand to what degree they've been delayed and debated about. She may not always like what she has to do as Head of Decom, but she does believe in its importance for the safety of the KND. So, when she does eventually make it back to Earth, the Decom Squad will argue/compete over who has to be the one to tell her.
