i think something about the way david lynch always described art was something that always really resonated with me was the absolute emphasis that misery and suffering isn’t what creates art but it’s the making of art that alleviates misery we’re born with, and how his entire life’s work is a testament to that very sentiment. there aren’t a lot of people who have had as big of an impact on me both creatively and personally. rest in peace.

“Danny Fenton wasn't looking forward to his family vacation to Gravity Falls to meet his Uncle Dan for the first time since he was little.
