hi im viktor. i study english literature and linguistics on the side, im a permanent resident of Wikipedia and i like to think of myself as an art enthusiast.

this fucking country i live in only wants to end anonymity because its under so much flak from its own people for basically selling us out to israel (and ignoring its state-sponsored bots) that its throwing a massive tantrum.

literally willing to step over human rights (freedom of speech) and its own constitution so it can keep sucking israeli cock and fuel some imaginary enmity with iran for weapons

People are really refusing to think about the anonimity removal in Greece:

If everyone has to post under their legal names it endangers people for due criticism made towards the government, it endangers LGBT+ people, specially Trans people, in a country that is still very conservative and in a world where trans prople's humanity is bring put into question, it endangers children—

Anonimity protects. Not just BAD people, but those that need to be protected too. Yes it is unfortunate, but in order to protect those that deserve protection, we have no other choice but to protect EVERYONE, as no one is up for actually thinking of a BETTER option beyond black and white decisions!

If you're Greek, once this law reaches the Public Comment phase, go to opengov.gr and let your representatives know YOU DO NOT WANT THIS LAW PASSED.
