The first thing that Ubbe remembers about you is your interesting way of being painfully sarcastic and sassy. He didn’t know you well at that time but he was definitely enamored and he was determined to know you. Now that you both are together officially, he’s still awed by your quick wit. He himself isn’t pardoned by the receiving end of the stick.

The fact that you would do anything for someone even though they are a stranger is really admirable but he doesn’t want to see you getting hurt in the process and he doesn’t want you getting taken advantage of. He will definitely protect you and will talk you out of a situation that threatens your wellbeing. He knows you mean well and that you want to help for the greater good but he explains that not everyone wants what’s best for you. They only think about themselves and how they can benefit from your kindness. They will most likely mistake your kindness for weakness.

In the comfort of your own home with the fire going, he loves to sit on your shared bed with your slim figure in between his legs with your back facing him so he could braid your hair. Playing with your long brown hair comforts him and is a personal stress reliever. He loves knowing that you don’t let anyone else touch your hair but him. And vice versa to all of this because you absolutely love braiding his hair especially right before a raid. His finds it so relaxing when he feels your tugging and pulling his hair tight because he is reassured that his braids won’t fall apart or come undone after you are finished.

In the times that you end up defending someone, you do all that you can to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and nicely. He thinks it’s noble of you to stand up for someone who doesn’t know how to defend themselves but it hurts him seeing that you take all the verbal hits yourself. He feels his heart clench as he watches your head tilt down and the tears swimming just behind your eyes. That’s when he has had enough and uses everything in his power to tear that person to pieces, whether it be verbally or physically. More often physically than verbally. After the altercation, he would guide you home and do everything he can to make you feel much better. Such as taking care of your needs like running you a soothing bath, undressing you and dressing you for bed and wrapping you in his furs. He will pull you to his chest and murmur comforting words.

The one thing about you that he loves more than anything in this word is that you are family-orientated and are fiercely loyal to your blood and your friends. What would you do for them? The question is what wouldn’t you do for them? Your big heart cannot grow with anymore love than it already has when you are with your family. When Ubbe leaves for raids or adventures with his brothers, you always make sure to visit your friends in family so you can spend your time surrounded by people you love and not spend your time missing the love of your life and being in constant worry.

He will never grow tired with the way his heart jumps beats fast every time he comes back from a raid and sees you waiting at the dock for him. He’s fast to move to the front of the ship to find you. It’s not hard to spot you considering the fact that you’re wearing one of his fur capes around your shoulders. He thinks you look absolutely beautiful with your hair blowing in the wind as you wait for his boat to be tied to the docks. As the villagers cheer and crowd around the warriors, his eyes are only on you and he pushes past people to get to you. When he finally reaches you, he cups a hand on your face and brings you to a much needed kiss. The rest of the day is spent in each others arms with the fire crackling in the background.

Never question his loyalty or love for you because you will always have it. He doesn’t say “I love you” often but when he does, he really means it. Plus, he doesn’t have to say it because you already know through the little things he does for you.

A/N: I literally haven’t posted in months and I’m really really sorry about that.
