Rose and Damian Hook- Tougard (Rose’s maiden name.) Vikings of the north isles and the dragon riders of Vidar, their village which was named after the god of Vengeance and Justice, Vidar; the son of Odin and the giantess Gríðr.

Rose was betrothed to Harry Hook, son of Captain James hook before the two were even conceived. after her 18th birthday she and her father traveled to Auradon, the last known location of Captain Hook, and demanded her fathers side of the deal, Hooks first born son; to continue the family line. they discovered that Hook had never told his son about the old deal, and Rose’s father; Konumgr (old norse for “King”), shamed the old pirate.
After some negotiations with Harry, King Ben, and Konumgr, it is decided that Harry and Rose’s betrothal will continue. and Rose will join him in Auradon for half the year, then he will join her in Vidar for the rest of the year so they can bond. thing is, Harry is dating Uma; Daughter of Ursula and he fears Rose will react poorly. it isnt until the 3rd month of Rose’s stay in Auradon that he tells her of this ‘problem’
turns out, Rose doesn't care, in fact, she likes Uma. and she likes him too. so after the three get to know each other, they all decide to date each other, and so the betrothal between Harry and Rose, becomes a love filled marriage between the three. a few years after the three get married, they have two kids. Damian and Cordelia, both sired by Harry but born to the two woman. Damian is Rose’s son, and Cordelia is Uma’s daughter.

they found him on the isle, and made a deal with the then king of Auradon; Ben. since the people of Vidar were powerful and sift, the ‘royal’ family having been blessed by their gods of elemental powers; Rose having the ability to control and summon lighting whenever she pleased, so really, if they were to deny chief Konumgr’s request? it wouldn't be a peaceful time for Auradon.
so Ben allowed Rose to enter the isle with her father in search of Captain Hook and his first born son. the deal was begrudgingly acknowledged and Rose then stayed on the isle for six months getting to know Harry and his ‘friend’ Uma. within those first six months the three bonded and began to fall in love. but as per the agreement, Rose left the isle after six months, set to return after the last half of the year (basically a Hades/Persephone kinda deal, Rose would spend half a year on the isle with Harry, and then return home for the rest of the year)
during her absence Harry and Uma came to a striking realization; they had both fallen for the Viking girl who was betrothed to Harry. so when she returned the next year; they waited a couple months before confessing to her, and she returned those feelings wholeheartedly. and so the three married, and however many years later, Uma and Rose had their children, two days apart. Damian; son of Rose and heir of Vidar. and Cordelia; Daughter of Uma and child of the gods.
even after the two children were born, Rose was still required to spend only half a year on the isle, so for half a year, Uma, Harry, and Cordelia would be separated from Rose and Damian until the next time they returned. Rose had tried multiple times to make a new deal with Ben to permanently take Harry, Uma, and Cordelia from the isle to her village up north, but while the king wanted to agree, the council did not let the new deal go through. and then ripped away the original deal.(yeah im adding angst deal with it!) so when Cordelia and Damian were 12 years old, they disappeared from each others lives, only able to communicate through letters.
it is only four months after Mal and Maleficent's take over of Auradon, that the family is reunited.

uh, ye....this is probably the most ive ever done for this concept since last year??? when i originally came up with it?? yeah its been a whole ass year since i last touched this concept XD anyway, some extra info for yall
Rose is 6ft5, taller than both beast and Hades. in turn Damian, at 17 years old, is 6ft2, an inch (or two) taller than Harry. its a genetics thing, since Konumgr is 6ft7 and Vinder (old norse for Wind) (Roses mom and Damián's grandma) is 5ft11...yeah the chief line/the village of Vidar are TALL. Rose is also buff as shit, able to lift upwards of 500 pounds. the family of Tougard are blessed by the gods, born with the ability to manipulate the elements in different ways, and those married into the family are given special elemental gems. Konumgr can control fire, Vinder can control wind through her earrings, Rose can control/summon/ride on lightning, im still thinking of Damián's element, but the first thought is water; as a connection to his ‘ma’ (Uma) and sister, who both can control water as their connection to the god of the ocean, Poseidon.
the village of Vidar are also dragon riders, Damian rides a night fury named; storm breaker. and Rose rides a Skrill/Night fury hybrid named; Mjolnir. can you tell Rose n Damian are inspired by Httyd XD
