it’s vile, and he sucks at it. neither of them have the attention span god gave a goldfish and they’re both easily distracted by The Shiny, so the things he brings her tend to be like. a bone from some dude he smoked. a cool rock he found. something shiny that fell off a car while he was wrecking it. live prey is always a winner, though it’s a toss-up whether they’ll get to murder the poor asshole together (aka, date night) or whether she’ll decide she wants him to keep out and fight him over the would-be victim.

kinky sex is kind of a given with these two regardless, but it’s darquesse. she likes to poke the bear. vile’s temper changes on a dime so it’s never guaranteed what exactly will make him flip or how much of her nonsense he will tolerate and that makes him very fun to play with.

darquesse, in as much as that she’ll refer to him as ‘hers’, is viciously jealous over his attention and would probably be sad if he died. she’ll also get prickly and sulkily withdraw if she’s called on actually liking him.
vile has feelings for her, in his own way, but he’d never admit it out loud, and she’s not the type to be trying to coax a love confession out of him. he will step into a fight to take the heat off her while she heals herself, tolerates her being handsy with him and would probably not actively decide to kill her. it’s enough. she knows.

Pulling him down by his helmet spikes so she can smooch him is more darky’s thing. vile’s happy to let her, but his way of showing affection is more letting his shadows sort of absentmindedly play with her hair or curl around her fingers while he’s relaxed and focusing on something else.
