Duke Nokles is a necromancer who uses his many business ventures to fund parties, galas, and events for underworlders in order to show off his fourtunes and climb the social ladder.
He makes a good portion of his money through debt collections, but he also uses his talents to fund different business investments in the fur trades, leather works, and other animal based lines of product.
The duke usually lures debtors in with loan sharkish tactics--- promising a large sum up front and stipulating a contract with interest rates that would take a few small fourtunes to pay back in full.
Debtors who bear a demonic lineage are more likely to be recruited into his fold of underlings when they can't pay, but human debtors are more likely to have their automomy revoked and put to simple tasks the rest of their natural lives.
Despite his strong suit being his large set of business connections, his personal weakness is jealously, so even when he's trying to bump elbows with people of a higher status quo to hoist his own higher, his intentions are pretty transparent and he tends to seethe over being seen as a lesser.
Unlike most imps (who tend to be some kind of red color), The duke is a Yellow-green, and a many people joke behind his back that it's because he's chronically makes himself green with envy keeping company too high for him handle.
