I think on some level the appeal of flinthamilton to me is just how it rewards the viewer for having a well-tuned gaydar. In nine shows out of ten all that lingering eye contact and fleeting almost-intimacy would amount to nothing at all but in Black Sails you catch yourself wondering are they a little 🍒🍑🍎🫐 maybe??? And then, like a minor miracle, the answer is yes!!
