love the animation! also question, how do you animate using krita? i've been using krita ever since i got my drawing tablet and i have yet to figure out how to make animations. i know im not really ready for animations but, i'm curious and i do want to learn.

Thank you! I’m still learning myself, but I’ll summarize what I’ve seen so far.

You can start by opening your new document (I always go with Custom, even tho there’s a Japanese Animation template) and changing your Workplace to Animation.

Once you got that out, you can go ahead and Insert a Keyframe to start doodling your first frame. 

You gotta open a new one for each new frame, else you’re just going to draw over your previous doodle. You also want to turn on the Onionskin so you can see what you drew before and really get into animation.

If you want to add audio, just click on the speaker and chose your file! I’m not sure what types are compatible with Krita, but I use MP3 files :>

It’s really simple! Practice and experiment and make a lot of mistakes! Krita sometimes is very uncooperative, but it’s hey it’s free :D
