For Sale is this large Vintage Ludwig bass drum. Acquired out of a basement in NYC. The drum seems to be from The Art Rubin Orchestra. Not much information on it except a picture of the musician Art Rubin from Historic Images Outlet.Other than that I don't know much about it. This drum exterior shell has many cracked chipped off pieces, the skins are ripped (see pics) There seems to be and extra tension rod ? I just attached so it would not get lost. There are many signatures on the drum, have no idea who they are. The bass drum, the staple of a band/orchestra. Pretty amazing piece I think. Vintage TRIBAL! Here is fantastic large vintage talking drum. Believe to be from West Africa. This talking drum is in fantastic condition. Skin on both sides have no holes or tears. The pull strings are made of  leather (see pic) and the beautiful thick hand made strap is divine. Strap has inset gold fabric and  hand painted designs. What a great addition to your collection. I am a hand drummer/collector myself and  moving some of inventory. Hate to get rid but it needs a great new home.
