For some context: 55 cents in 1921 is the equivalent of $8.43 today. Liniment is a pain-relief ointment - you probably know it today as Icy-Hot, Tiger Balm or Ben-Gay.

Making Gen's Dragon Age verse and so torn between making him a sly and known Orlesian bard/theatre elf because how fun would that be?? But also Gen would make such a terrifying Reaver with his already draconic temper and blind faith.
@spiritxgun
‘Lucky for you, m’ not fragil with my feelings AND an adult.’ LIES.
‘Nothin’, cept maybe shove your head in the pavement and go about my evening.’
So not last session but the session before I kept rolling consistently low d20′s, this meant Taranis (my lvl 3 storm herald) had an incredibly bad day and i want to share the highlights.
(taranis accidentally gets completely sloshed)
‘Bartender another pleeeeease!’
‘I think you’ve had enough. Where are you staying tonight?’
‘Uuuuuhhhhh, the twelve doors...?’
‘*sigh* can someone escort them to the six windows’
........
Me: do i roll for a hang over?
DM: if you want
Me: *rolls a five*
DM: you are incredibly hungover
.........
(as party exits the blacksmith)
DM: Everyone roll dex sav
Everyone except taranis: succeeds
DM: Taranis is still to hungover and instead of jumping back with everyone else they look up. Rocks fall, you take 8 bludgeoning damage.
........
(party confronting powerful mage (incredibly out of our league) who’s pet gargoyles dumped the rocks on Taranis’ head. He is entirely unremorseful.
Me: I punch him in the face
Rest of party: What??
Me: i punch him in the face
(actually hits)
DM: Well... everyone roll initiative
.........
After getting out of that mess, the rest of the session was spent with Taranis, missing a gratuitous amount of strikes against four gargoyles
so anyway I was playing wizardball last night at youth group and this kid just TACKLED me from behind even though that’s CLEARLY against the rules ESPECIALLY because he was OUT
and now my knee is all scraped up
but I did kick him in the shin so #worth
all of you are weak. the correct way to start a romance path with me if i were an npc would be to challenge me to a fist fight. i’m disappointed that none of my followers know this by now
//judging by that kill count meme, there seem to be a lot of murderers around here
