Some more Head-Cannons of 'The Skeleton Shortcake' Skeletons! 🍰

Just a few random facts/details about each!

Sans (Classic)

Sans is 6'5

His 'formal wear' is always the minimum amount of effort.

Unlike Stretch, Classic doesn't drive a car he does have an electric scooter though that he occasionally uses.

Has the highest magic output due to them being in his Universe

Papyrus (Creampuff)

Paps is 8'6 and the tallest excluding Elk 🫎

Most of the household knows Edge is taking cooking lessons, but he makes them stay quiet till Edge is ready to tell everyone!

Drives a red Mustang and works on his car with Edge, it's one thing they bonded over.

Has the highest stamina of the skeletons, Blue is about the only one who can keep up with him.

Blue/Blueberry (Underswap Sans)

Blue is 5'9 tying with Black height wise.

He acts more childish outside of work because he worries people won't like him being himself.

Actually loves greasy food, but like Cherry and Black won't admit to it.

Blue can actually use a hammer, a bow, and even has firearms experience though he prefers hand guns. If it's long distance shooting he'd rather use his bow.

Stretch (Underswap Papyrus)

Stretch is 8'4 and shares height with Mutt.

He drives a convertible Mini Cooper Countryman to the annoyance of everyone.

Stretch like Papyrus and Edge actually doesn't care much for greasy food. He's a sweets man.

His favorite dessert is Honeybuns, but a close second is Chocolate Custard Donuts.

Red (Underfell Sans)

Red is 6'8 if he doesn't slouch him and Classic both have a bad habit of doing so.

Drives a pretty basic black pickup truck, though it is an older model he fixed up.

Has a vendetta with Doom-fang, Tigger he doesn't have issues with but the other is another story.

If you can somehow get in his room, hidden under his bed are an assortment of stuffed toys he collects. Red secretly enjoys cute things.

Edge (Underfell Papyrus)

Edge and Cash are actually the shortest Papyri at 8'2.

Edge doesn't want any of the others to know about his cooking classes. He thinks only his brother knows.

Edge will not let anyone drive his Stingray, though his brother typically does maintenance.

Has a soft spot for others, but will never admit it you may notice him doing little things to make your day better but call attention to it and he gets blushy fast.

Cherry (Fellswap Sans)

He is the shortest of all the skeletons at 5'2 without heels and 5'5 with them.

Don't let his size fool you Cherry has the worst temper and the highest LOVE of all the fell skeletons.

Uses a sickle for fighting, whereas Black uses a scythe. Both have extensive hand to hand combat training.

Drives around in a dark red Lamborghini, and like Edge doesn't allow anyone to touch it. Though he has forced Mutt to drive him to places on occasion.

Mutt (Fellswap Papyrus)

Each of the fell skeletons have an array of scars, sadly out of all of them Mutt has the most. Some from fights, but many are from punishments. (By Cherry, Their Undyne, or Their Toriel.)

Mutt works at the local animal shelter on weekends, but his brother doesn't know this. He believes that Mutt is doing extra training.

Want's a dog, but keeps getting stopped by his brother and Edge. Cherry doesn't think he is suited to be a 'master' and Edge because he worries it will chase his cats.

Mutt is actually the most physically strong skeleton despite not working out as often as some of the others. He is very cautious for this reason as he actually dislikes hurting others.

Black/Blackberry (Swapfell Sans)

Black is perhaps the most strategic, enough so that out of the others Classic often discusses major decisions with him.

Black and Cherry have been known to use feminine ecto when it strikes their fancy. Though Black typically prefers skirts whereas Cherry enjoys dresses.

His closest friend is Cherry, he has tried to talked to him on more than one occasion about how he treats his brother. Though only he understands why Cherry is seemingly so cruel to him.

Black enjoys taking his bike out almost more than Blue, often riding further out and much faster. He often does the maintenance himself, but if he is unable to find the time will allow Red to do so.

Cash (Swapfell Papyrus)

Has a unique set of teeth in that he was born with an extra set of fangs behind his first set. Though many doctors are unsure as to why, many guess it is simply a trait unique to him.

Drives a black Charger with purple trim, and does not allow anyone outside his approved list to drive it. Papyrus, Black, Cherry, or Edge.

It's true Cash typically wants SOMETHING in return for anything he does. However if he genuinely makes a mistake, is helped, or someone is in truly dire straits he will help under the pretense of ' paying debts'.

Has a blind socket though unlike Frostbite, chooses to hide it. This is because in his world exposing a weakness is extremely dangerous.

Frostbite (Violentale Sans)

The largest Sans, Frost stands at over 8'8 not including his antlers though he occasionally slouches like Red.

He's very sensitive about his ears and teeth. His teeth due to their horrific appearance and his ears for looking much too 'cute'.

Likes to hunt although make sure he is actually hunting ANIMALS. Not something else...

Knows how to properly prepare the animals he hunts, he created most of the clothes that he and his brother wear. His venison jerky is actually delicious.

Elk (Violentale Papyrus)

The tallest Papyri and the tallest skeleton Elk is a beast at 9'2 that does not include their antlers!!!

Though they will answer to He, Elk prefers neutral gender pronouns. Though they understand not everyone conforms to this.

An absolute gentle giant, they don't like to fight period and will absolutely avoid doing so even if they get hurt. They're just so big that they're scared of hurting someone.

While they can hunt much like Frost, Elk would prefer traps if he must. His real talent however is finding natural herbs and the like as a gatherer rather than a hunter.

While Violentale is full of dark, gorey, and sad things, this is art of the Pacifist Route.

Some Pacifist Route fun details ❄️

Frisk can only achieve this by not killing any Monsters infected or otherwise, and not killing any humans, mages, or infected mages.

Papyrus becomes King of the Monsters due to his unique immunity to the debilitating aspects of the virus.

Sans and Alphys both make a serum that dampens the hunger and relaxes the mind. While they still have large appetites they are able to think clearer. It also halts the spread much like a vaccine.

Sans opens an ice cream & shaved ice place, though he does assist Alphys with her work with those infected.

Papyrus and Sans Adopt Frisk, legally Papyrus is her father but they are more like siblings with Sans taking on the more fatherly aspects.

Violentale Papyrus

Here are a few random headcanons/facts!

He can use all four arms to do different task, but if he gets flustered his arms get tangled up.

After consistently scaring people because they didn't hear him coming he took their advice and added bells to his outfits.

His favorite food is Alfredo Bowtie pasta.

His coat is made from members of the Royal Guard, his mother made it for him so he always wears it.

He is about 7'0 but consistently forgets this especially when hugging someone.

PERSONALITY

Despite their intimidating form and size, Papyrus is a gentle monster who isn't fond of conflict. Given their stature they could certainly become a formidable monster. However, due to being raised mostly by Sans who kept them heavily away from danger as much as possible. Teaching Paps to never attack humans unprovoked, because of this they're one of the rare types of monsters. Like many Papyri they share a love of puzzles, japes, and pasta when he can find the material to make the noodles. Unfortunately because of their appearance, and their brother, Papyrus often struggles with loneliness as well as dealing with others who mistake them as a threat. When they find Frisk they're extremely elated to make a new friend and do whatever they can to protect them from harm. Despite their enthusiasm though, Paps is an incredibly shy anxious monster who is always on guard because of past conflicts.

HISTORY

Papyrus was still a babybones when their father found them, and sadly they were too young at the the time to remember what their mother looked like. As a child Papyrus was heavily protected by Sans especially after their mother was killed while they were extremely young. As they got closer to their teens, Gaster declared he would begin teaching them how to hunt humans, mages, and other monsters. Papyrus had little desire to hunt, preferring to gather whilst hunting wild game such as deer, elk, excetra and had a preference for traps rather than using brute force.

While they were too young to see their mother's murder, Papyrus was there when Sans ambushed their father. They held many mixed emotions on that day, and even now the memory is firmly engraved in the back of their mind. After their father's death, and Sans becoming the new alpha, Papyrus lived much of their life in solitude with their brother as their only source of companionship.

Even when they were  educated by both Toriel and Grillby, Sans still overtook most of their teaching. Although they have tried to speak to others outside Snowden it has been extremely difficult due to their intimidating size. Though Undyne has spoken to them on occasion when they try to sneak into Waterfall territory. She seems to find them amusing because of their gentle docile nature, occasionally making what many would consider insults.

These insults are however just how she shows kindness, because of the nature of most Monsters she is unfamiliar with the subject. That said she will at times show them how to fish for food and show them how to cook it. Though she more often than not ends up losing control and eating the fish before it's done.

When the human arrives, Paps takes an instant liking to their quiet yet playful personality. They do their best to hide the human away from Sans fearful of him hurting, or perhaps torturing the child. When they find out that Sans has been having their friend targeted, tormented, and is going to surprise attack them Paps steps in. They stand up to Sans insisting that the human is their first true friend, and threaten to fight him if he plans to hurt them.

PACIFIST ROUTE

During the Pacifist timeline Paps will grow fond of the Human child see them as their first real friend and do their best to take care of them. They hide Frisk from their brother, and other monsters when possible to assure their safety. When they find out that Sans has been orchestrating all the monsters attacking the human, the traps, and finds them about to fight and or kill the human their livid.

Papyrus demands Sans to stop and when he doesn't listen, Paps attacks his brother defending Frisk from them startling him. They then declare " I AM TIRED OF BEING ALONE WITH YOU! YOU ARE MY BROTHER BUT I CANNOT STAND THIS ISOLATION! THIS HUMAN IS MY FRIEND AND I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME!"

Shocked Sans backs down and ceases his attack agreeing to stop so long as there's not a danger to others. Paps doesn't fully believe their brother but agrees to help Frisk by showing them the way to Waterfall. Occasionally Paps will pop in around Waterfall giving advice about Undyne to them. Such as that she isn't the best at aiming and is actually kind but doesn't know how to express it all that well.

When Alphys and Undyne reconnect admitting their feelings, Papyrus pops in between the paid congratulating them before running as they chase them in embarrassment. After the human defeats Asgore and challenges Monarch, the God imprisons Asgore.

When Monarch tells the human they have to pick a new King of the Monsters and they choose Papyrus because of his Kindness. At the end you see that Papyrus has declared that consuming humans is illegal, and peace is forged with the humans underground while investing in aid for the monsters and mages afflicted by hunger.

GENOCIDE ROUTE

The killing of Papyrus is an automatic Genocide sentence, unlike other universes, this is believed to be the case due to the AU's unstable Sans and Pappy's purity is the key to peace.

APPEARANCE

Papyrus looks similar to the original with a handful of certain unique traits. Firstly his facial bones have unique curves and points around the jaw and sides of his skull accompanied by a pair of intimidatingly large canines. He also features the unusual trait of having four arms courtesy of his mother's spider monster magic. Papyrus aka Fox is also almost never seen without his signature white fluffy coat that has four sleeves and a cute set of ears on the hood. This coat is made from the fur of Greatest Dog who attacked him as a child, while he isn't fond of the memory or methods used he loves his coat dearly because his mother made it. Underneath he typically wears a red sweater or red tank top, and his pants are black with gold bells swen into the bottom legs with red thread. His reasoning for the bells is due to his rather quiet personality and swift movement makes him particularly hard to hear combined with his large size he often unintentionally frightens others.

PERSONALITY

Papyrus is a good natured gentle soul who has never had the desire to fight, and will do everything he can to avoid doing so. He simply just doesn't want to hurt others, he'd much rather heal them or sew clothes for them as he finds a great deal of joy in helping others. He often gets embarrassed about his hight, arms, and teeth finding these aspects of himself to be unappealing. He's also incredibly clumsy often getting himself into hilariously unusual situations, an example is that he often accidentally sets off his Uncle's traps. That said he can be insanely attractive and not even realize it, many monsters have expressed a love of his voice, kindness, and humility. His favorite thing to eat is Alfredo pasta however he prefers it made with bowtie noodles his reasoning is the bowties make the the pasta cooler. He can be a bit of a mom friend and often acts as if he's attention starved this isn't because of a lack of love from his mother and uncle however, but because until Frisk arrives Papyrus had little to no friends whatsoever. Papyrus can create spider silk from his finger tips much like his mother however he typically uses this skill in sewing not combat, if he applied it in combination with his skeletal attacks he could become a fearsome opponent however this will likely never happen as he despises fighting.

NEUTRAL ROUTE

When Frisk arrives they try to safely go down the main entrance however upon going down the rope snaps causing them to have a terrible fall. Papyrus finds them soon after and immediately tends to their wounds. Once healed he seems excited to meet a human for the first time asking shyly if they would want to 'hang out' as he guides them through the ruins. Along the journey he tells them about the state of the underground, about his mother, his uncle, his father, but will get nervous if they ask why there are no other monsters in the ruins. Upon reaching the empty house he excitedly makes them Alfredo pasta, makes them a scarf, and ask them to be his new friend. After eating and resting if Frisk ask where the exit of the Ruins is Papyrus will attempt multiple times to change the subject. If they insist he will claim it's time for bed and wander off, after which when Frisk descends to the exit he will appear behind them before panicking to run in front of them telling them that they aren't allowed to leave. A confrontation ensues and as they fight Papyrus will repeatedly beg them to stay in the Ruins, as their HP runs out his attacks will begin to miss them on purpose. Eventually he'll stop and ask one more time for them to stay falling to his knees before them, when they insist on leaving he finally breaks and agrees to let them go but ask that they still be his friend. From there he will guide them out but warns them to be extremely careful not just because guardsmen could be out, but because his brother is often out 'hunting' and has multiple traps. Lastly he tells them if they should run into his mother or Uncle Sans…to immediately run away as fast as possible. Later during the final battle Papyrus will show up often healing them and others throughout the battle only if they agree to he his friend.

GENOCIDE ROUTE

Any time Frisk kills Papyrus the end result is ALWAYS a genocide route, the loss of him is too much for Grizelda and Sans to take driving them both completely over the edge. Regardless of whatever other monsters they kill or don't kill, slaying Papyrus is an automatic death sentence in a way. If the play should kill him Papyrus will thank them for at least spending time with him, should they attack him after being spared he will say "oh I…I feel cold…is this…dad? Dad it's me I…I am coming to see you…sorry mom …" Before dusting.

TRUE PACIFIST ROUTE

So long as Frisk has not slayed Papyrus, any other monsters, the guardsmen, and befriended Papyrus, Grizelda, Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, Sans, and Fate it is considered a true pacifist route. After the climatic battle against Fate, Frisk will lace their hand with Papyrus's and exit the mountain slowly with the others. In the time skip it's shown that Papyrus has become a well know fashion designer and is sewing new clothes for Grizelda while Sans is tattooing clients in the background.

HISTORY

Papyrus is the son of Grizelda and Gaster, his birth being a miracle as it was unclear whether or not Grizelda would be able to even have children given her Amalgamated state. After his father is killed and he's born, Grizelda and Sans end up raising him with Sans being more like a Father figure and Brother rather than an Uncle. As a babybones it's said he was very happy and outgoing in the beginning but one day this fact got him into trouble. He had been playing in the village when after running into the forest to get a ball he runs into a guardsmen sneaking into Snowdin. The Dog monster proceeds to interrogate him, threatening and tormenting him to make him give information on his guardians that he doesn't have. As the guardsmen threatens to hurt him further Grizelda shows up knocking the guard out with venom before comforting Papyrus. After this Papyrus became shy and anxious around others often wanting to play with other kids but afraid to leave the safety of home. To give him more confidence back his mother used methods of magic and science to skin the dog monsters fur into a coat doing so while the guardsman was still alive yet paralyzed. As he aged Papyrus would rarely leave home unless it was to do healing work or mending clothes for the citizens of Snowdin. When Frisk arrives Papyrus is so astonished at seeing a human and after getting to know them wants to truly become their best friend. Frisk will actually give Papyrus the courage to leave his home and eventually Snowdin to assist them to the battle to come.
