- Violet Days
Violet Days - synthpop from Sweden (major crush on singer Lina Hansson)
In her latest clip, Violet Days spills a whole lot of ‘INK’ in the form of windswept coastlines and overcast skies. But beneath such stunning beauty lies great torment and confusion from the Swedish singer/songwriter, fuelled by icy, atmospheric piano, lullaby chords and moody hues.
Lina Hansson says about the track via press release:
‘’Ink' is about how sometimes you can become blind to toxic relationships. It’s easy to fool yourself into thinking that the hardships and toxicity is normal and that all relationships are like that. ‘It’s so important to respect yourself enough to know that you deserve to be happy and treated with love and respect, and to recognize when that's not the case in your relationship.’
Violet Days’ debut EP Made In My Head is out now.

The Midnight
Swedish alt pop project Violet Days returns after several months of silence with new single Leave But Don’t Go, as well as news of a long awaited debut EP named Made In My Head, set to be released later this month! The EP is inspired by a dreamy Swedish comic book from the 60s that follows two characters who are in tumultuous love. Violet Days re-made and re-animated its characters in their own unique way to tell the story throughout the EP. We get our first taste of this tale via the lyric video for Leave But Don’t Go. We regale in a cunning comic representation of the song’s narrative, presented sonically as a melodiously contagious electro and synthpop sojourn. Vocalist lina Hansson and producer Kris Eriksson enrapture us with their dulcet pop, woven with radiant guitars and buoyant beats. The lovelorn pop song.can also be streamed via Spotify, here.
