Violet Diamond, Magenta and Hope fusion

These are my Diamonds, there's a long and very strange story between ineri and me, but these are the sweet babies, but I'll try to make them in the style of the original animated series :3

Back in 2018, I created my own Diamond OC for Steven Universe. I drew her like 2-3 times then forgot all about her until recently. I got the idea to redraw her and her Pearl and sort of locked in for a while, as I wanted to expand on the AU a bit more. So here's the lore of Violet Diamond.

She represents the exhausted eldest daughter of a toxic household. Violet had developed the same core beliefs as the Crystal Gems long before they became a thing. She had grown to deeply dislike Homeworld's customs, which was a major factor in her decision to leave. The only Diamond she was still on good terms with was Pink.

Her gem was meant to be on her neck but it turned out goofy, so I had it reflected on her Pearl. Although Violet left Homeworld with most of her Division, she kept contact and her contributions at the bare minimum, so her symbol was still present. Her absence was felt thanks to her appearances being so rare.

Her throne was empty while her original ship was left abandoned. Because of her own powers regarding Negation, White's powers don't work on her, so Violet didn't have to worry about falling to her control.

Before leaving Homeworld, her first 4 planets were fully colonized. In time, the colonizations significantly reduced with each planet until the next 6 were left alone. Violet became a conservationist instead, appreciating the natural beauty of those worlds even if they weren't inhabited. I included the original 2018 version for comparison.

Violet would return to Homeworld for the first time in thousands of years for the events of 'The Trial'. She'd be addressed as either the 'radiant' or 'shimmering' Violet Diamond. Her Pearl would record the trial. On an extra note, Violet would have no hostility toward Steven, but more of a calm curiosity. To her, his presence was very similar to Pink's. Everything about the shattering felt off and suspicious to her, and she only ever shared those thoughts with her Pearl in private.

All Violet wanted was answers to what really happened, so she was left at an absolute loss when Yellow poofed the Zircons in retaliation.

As she's still not on speaking terms with White, Yellow, and Blue, Violet would take her leave soon afterwards to gather her thoughts.

And this is everything I got so far. I'll include an update if I decide to add more stuff in the future.

i just realized 4 years ago yellow and steven were going to fuse and in mid fuse stopped will we ever get to see that fusion in the future or anymore diamond fusions because we only saw green diamond so far and yellow and steven looked like they were going to make a orange diamond

Steven Universe AU I made!!

Basically the entire diamond order is switched, meaning black diamond is the highest, followed by red and violet, and white diamond being the newest/lowest

White diamond is cheerful and optimistic but has awful mood swings. Since she’s every color of the light, she tends to have emotions that can change within an instant, causing awful outbursts. Has the power to heal gems, but typically the regenerations sometimes look off colored from the rest of the gem.

Violet diamond is extremely quiet and rarely speaks unless she feels extreme emotion. Typically isolates herself from others in an attempt to not hurt them, but this causes her stress and makes her more likely to harm others anyway. Her power instead of making people cry is to make other gems have black ooze spill from their mouth and sometimes eyes. When this ooze spills from her, it can “shatter” gems from the sheer strength of it.

Red diamond is extremely calculated and bases things off of logic, and discards any and all emotion when it comes to decisions. Typically only expresses rage, and when shes angry, hundreds of gems can get shattered. Otherwise, she expresses no emotion and only does this based on the benefit for herself and her colony. Her power causes chains that burn at degrees even gems can’t stand to wrap around the person affected and paralyze them, before destroying (but not shattering) them.

Black diamond is extremely condescending and tends to point out the flaws in everything, especially in violet and red. Is extremely insecure, especially due to how much praise white got for being every color of the light. She felt imperfect and wanted others to feel how she did. Her power is to take control of gems physical forms (the same way white does in su) but instead of them being puppets that mimic her movements, they’re basically mannequins. She poses them to show off every one of their flaws and make herself look better, and is known to have a collection of gems that she believed were too good and needed to be corrupted. Tells others she does it for their own good. Over time, the gems under her control melt away and disintegrate, becoming shattered.
