Also, I can remember if this was addressed or you confirmed what it would be but:
If Yellow in the Circus Au is absent/"shattered" would these cause more gems to have deformities or unstable forms, since Yellow's powers both revolve around physical forms.
I thought of this question since I saw a interesting Reddit post that illustrated and described the possibilities/interpretations of what gems would look like without one of the Diamonds/Diamond's Esscences. Kind of like how in the show after Pink's "death" and Era 2's arrival, a lot of gems came out smaller, weaker, or close to completely powerless. Like for example Peridot, or potentially Aquamarine if she is potentially an Era 2 gem too (since she has a wand, and without it she is overall not much of a threat to deal with).
In the post I think they illustrated, described, and thought of that without Blue it would lead to gems lacking a psyche. Without Yellow gems would be deformed, disfigured, random shapes/blobs. They also talk about White but idk how to word it without it sounding confusing or too long. But overall I could send a link of it if your interested in seeing it. Hopefully I made sense and hopefully I didn't ramble too much for one question that popped into my head!
Yes! But idk what that looks like for era 2 homeworld gems yet.
🔸Yellow is the physical component. She’s the reason gems are tall, small, have the correct form for their tasks - whatever that is.
That’s why seeing nephrite have 3 diamonds attempt to heal her is important.
Pink’s essence must have an additional purpose/identity component. Maybe the drive for it, instead of instinct? She’s the passion I think.
We technically don’t know if Topaz is an era 2 gem, when she uses her prison body ability. I love that you brought up Aquamarine’s wand. They may be similar to Peridot’s enhancers. These are things I haven’t considered.
Many asymmetrical gems— which PD would love. And means HW enhancers are similar to earthling mobility aids. That’s exciting to design! (A blind Sapphire, Lapis with dwarfism, and even skin conditions too - like a stripe-less Jasper.
