Heard today was "make a terrible comic day", a day of making comics for the joy of it.

Therefore: a low-effort Project Hail Mary comic to help break my perfectionism.

(Honestly, I had this comic idea for a while, this was just the motivation I needed to actually draw it)

I remembered that salt and/or sand can be added to pictures to make cool textures, so I thought that'd be a cool thing for them to try out.

(I also found out that eridian ink is thick for their echolocation, so that’s what the stylus is for.)

I loved experimenting with the lighting and the armor's shine; this was such a cool picture and I hope I did it justice.

Inspired by @wickedcriminal Project Hail Mary au, also a bit of a thank you to them for getting me into this fandom

I did change one little detail for this drawing; the Eridian is Silver. I had a few reasons for this:

Mineral-based name

Comes from an inhospitable environment

The 200~ year age gap

Silver and Rocky's personalities are kinda similar

With Tails as World's Best Mechanic, Silver can be the one who studies life. He already loves learning about plants and healthy ecosystems

I had so much fun with this drawing, and it also made me realize a Tails/Silver team-up would be pretty cool.
