Happy Birthday Choi Seunghyun!

There are a lot of things I want to say so this will be long and there is a 98% chance you won’t even see this but oh well, I’m gonna write it anyway for that 2% hope that you do.

You are more then just an artist to me. You are a role model and an inspiration that I hold close to my heart. You are probably not feeling like it right now considering the events that have recently happened in your life, however, I am a firm believer that not everyone is perfect and that it’s inevitable that we are all gonna do things in life that are stupid and regretful. Some of those things will have bigger impacts on our lives while others not so much, but it’s how we act upon and recover from them that is what shapes us into a more respectable human being in life. What happened to you or what you did is now a stepping stone in your path but as long as you continue the path with learning and understanding of the wrong and right and keep walking with your head held high then your journey will continue to be one that is worth it in the end. Despite everything, I still respect you and see you as a human and someone that is still walking their path with good intentions.

You are an inspiration to me in many ways. Just like you did in your past I am struggling with my weight while having dreams that don’t support it. But seeing that you overcame that huge obstacle with determination by losing enough to make your dream come true, has given me the same determination and hope. If you can do it then so can I. I am sure you would look at me and say “shh, you are beautiful the way you are” just like you did with the VIP that asked you to write “lose weight” on the picture she wanted you to sign so it would encourage her to do so, but instead you gave her a meaningful message that she is beautiful no matter how much she weighed and that shows how kind and loving you are. It’s another reason why I hold so much respect for you. You are humble and kind and always have the best intentions when it comes to the VIPs and those around you and that is something to look up too.

Your music and your passion for acting is another reason why I find you so inspirational, even though you have only released a few solos. However, each song represents you and shows your personality and quirks. You don’t just make songs that will top the charts, you make songs that you yourself would enjoy and relate to in some way and that’s beautiful. You make your music crazy and unique just like you and I can’t wait to see you do more. Your acting is also wonderful because you put your heart and soul in it and you don’t treat each project like a job. You treat it like a passion and enjoy every moment of it and it shows each time. It shows that it is possible to reach your dreams and is perfectly fitting for you to bask in happiness while living it.

Your passion for art also touches me because it’s something you have always loved and I’m so happy you decided to share that part of yourself to us because it reveals the most deep parts of your soul and heart. We have learned more about you through your love of art then in anything else and I hope you always continue to do so.

You are a strong independent individual who doesn’t take crap from others and who fights until they can’t anymore. You are a person with love and respect and hope In your heart. You are a person with passion, creativity, and talent. You are unique and rememberable in life.

You have made mistakes, regrets and I’m sure you have made tears. I’m know that behind the public eye you have times where you are hurting and suffering just like others in this world. But I want you to know that you don’t have to be perfect and you don’t have to try and seem like it. It is okay to be imperfect in life, it’s okay because you are human. Do not let these stumps in your path make you tumble and lose your way. Climb over it and continue your journey because these things do not represent you as a person, they are not characteristics of yours and do not explain who you are as a human. They are just things to help mold you into the masterpiece you are destined to be and you are the artist with the power to mold yourself in the right direction.

I love you Choi Seung Hyun and so do millions of others who are standing by you and supporting you. I hope your birthday this year is a good one and if not then don’t lose hope. Next year is coming and we all wish you a less bumpy path to walk on, a better canvas to paint. Let the past year only be another tool that has helped you grow. VIP will be here and will welcome you home with loving arms and unconditional love. True fans, true VIPs will never abandon you because of things that could happen to anyone, there hasn’t been a single thing you have done that will make us love you less. So please do not cry.
