Sting announces board game-style RPG VIractal for PC - Gematsu

Dokapon series developer Sting has announced VIractal, a board game-style RPG coming to PC via Steam. It will launch first in Early Access, where it will remain for six months to a year. A release date has yet to be announced, but a demo is due out on May 12. It will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

Viractal coming to Switch 2, Switch on September 30 - Gematsu

Sting will release Switch 2 and Switch versions of board game RPG Viractal on September 30 worldwide and October 1 in Japan, the developer announced.

Viractal first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 19, 2025, followed by a full release on January 26, 2026.

In Japan, the Switch 2 version of Viractal will be available both physically and digitally. Pricing is as follows:

-Physical Edition

Switch 2 (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, game card) – 4,950 yen

-Digital Edition

-Switch – 3,960 yen

-Switch 2 – 4,950 yen

-Switch 2 Upgrade Pack – 990 yen

In the “Spring of Cards” area, ambient sounds such as flowing water are rendered in Ambisonics format to create an immersive atmosphere. During battles, placing the listener at the character’s position allows for powerful and dynamic 3D spatial audio. Voice chat is implemented using CRI TeleXus.
