It’s the little waves…
It’s never the big waves.
Big waves crashing over a pebble on the beach cause only momentary disruption.
It’s the little waves. Moment-by-moment. Back-and-forth. In to shore and back out to the ocean.
It’s the little waves washing over the pebble
all the time
day after day
that finally break the pebble down until it’s nothing but sand.
It’s the little waves that do the most damage.
