Kingsmen, A/B/O, Harry and Merlin, early era
What fun, another unfinished Kingsmen thing! With an ABO twist! If you’d like it, please drop me a comment before you take it, thank you.
"Oh shit," Came a hiss of static in Harry's ear, making him immediately look up from his task.
"Merlin? What, are they coming upstairs?"
"No, Galahad, forgive me. Continue."
Harry took Merlin's dismissal at face value for the time being and pushed the expletive out of his mind, concentrating solely on locating the information they were after. Concentrating exclusively on the missile and weapons cache locations and not Merlin's extremely distracting heavy breathing—
"Merlin? What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Another dismissive tone, "Please forgive me and continue."
The locations were duly located and Harry finished his mission, slipping gracefully out of the room just as the general was escorting a young woman inside.
"Good evening, General. It's all clear," He said in a no-nonsense tone with a salute and quickly walked away from the confused man and his giggling companion.
"All ready for extraction, Merlin. Do you have the car?"
There was a long pause, "Yes."
Harry pursed his lips, but did not question the strained tone.
"Good. I'll be there shortly."
"Galahad, perhaps when you come in the car, you should be..."
"What, Merlin?"
"You should drive," Merlin finished, in that same curious tone. "I'm not, I'm in a state at the moment."
"Are you hurt? If you had been injured, you should have told me."
"No, Galahad, please, just hurry."
Harry broke out in a brisk jog, thankful he was mostly off the estate grounds and was only glimpsed by a few latecomers walking to the mansion. He located the black car Merlin was staked out in and hurriedly opened the driver's door.
"Merlin, what the—Jesus." He huffed out and rolled down the window as he drove down the general's long driveway. "'In a state', is that what you call it?"
"I was trying to be courteous and let you focus."
"I appreciate the sentiment, but it failed. I half thought you were bleeding out."
"Sorry. Please get me back to headquarters?" Merlin said with a wan smile, "My extras are in the office."
"Best thing now would be to let it run its course," Harry said glibly, glancing back at Merlin. "Medically speaking, of course."
Merlin raised his eyebrow, "And from exactly which school of medicine did you graduate, Galahad?"
"The school of common sense. Of which you seem to be only an honorary graduate of. You're too far along to try to suppress it, it would do nothing and you'd just waste a dose."
"What do you suggest I do then, sit and suffer while filling out reports?"
Harry bit back an innuendo about sitting and filling out, "You wouldn't have to suffer."
"Clearly you have never been through a heat, Harry."
"Not on your end, at least, but I've helped plenty of Omegas. And trust me, no one was suffering."
Merlin didn't respond for a while, long enough that Harry looked in the rearview mirror to check he was still conscious. The other man was still awake, but his eyes were glassy and he kept cringing in pain.
"I," Merlin said slowly. "I want, just take me back to headquarters. Please, Galahad.”
"As you wish."
"Have you…helped a lot of omegas?” Merlin’s tone was curious.
"More than three, not as many as ten." Harry winked, "A gentlemen never gives a specific number."
"So, you've been with a lot?"
"I suppose," Harry answered humbly.
"And they, when you were with them, they seemed to enjoy it?"
"Immensely," Harry answered unhumbly.
"It didn't hurt them?"
"What didn't hurt them?"
"When you, entered them, knotted them?"
"Have you never been knotted in heat?"
"No. I've never."
"The pressure is there, like when you have sex out of heat, but it's easier to ignore."
"Galahad, I meant, 'never' as in never."
"Never, never?"
Merlin resolutely shook his head.
“Not even just the tip?”
“Galahad, do not be crass.”
“It was a genuine question.”
