What is interesting is that I would have skipped (or just don't listen to) about 60-70% of these songs. It's a product of (1) Evan's music library infecting mine at one point and (2) my music hoarding tendencies. I have a hard time fully deleting things, "in case I ever want to listen to it just once".

Anyone that wants to can do this, but I’d love to hear from avatzoom, nightingalenox221, virginialy, myleahmaria, embritches, ladylibrarian, and thefloydster if he’s still on tumblr (as Evan said).

I’m glad someone agrees with me about this issue being a mixed bag. On the one hand, I love that Babs is acting more like the way most 21-year-olds I know act; however, it is weird for them to sort of treat Batgirl as outside the rest of the new52.

It's one of those comics where I'd be enjoying it hugely if it wasn't about Barbara Gordon. In fact, I could even enjoy it as a Barbara Gordon story if it was a Year-One-era comic.

But coming on the heels of three years of grimdark New 52 Batgirl, it's a really weird and abrupt shift.

And while it's refreshing to get away from the grimdark, and as I said I think it's a well-written and visually gorgeous comic, all of my other issues with New 52 Babs -- the deageing, the erasure of her history and disability and character growth and leadership and legacy -- are still there. And that makes it hard for me to really get on board with the Batgirl of Burnside.

Thank you so much <3 !!! I haven’t sent of any art yet, but i am kinda thinking maybe once a get a good chunk of fan art for Sabriel and Lirael i will print it as a book an send it to him.

OH OH! maybe if I can time it right, I will have a lot done around the time as  the US Clariel release! Like a ‘thank you to him for writing such great books, have a book of things I’ve drawn for you books’ book? Would that be a little weird? haha!
