The following morning we returned to Aileard and Nash, our druid, found the weirdest looking bird to cast Awaken on to create a guardian for the new moonwell and druid grove he made.

The party reconvened at The Dog's Bollocks, their favorite tavern for obvious reasons, and let loose. There was arm wrestling, dancing, and all around drunken chaos. A couple party members even found some on to share a bed with for the night.

Mysteries of the Moonshaes - 3.5.2023 session continued Meanwhile Tiri made their way over the Duke's Exchange to make sure Captain Payton looked like the fearsome captain he is to make sure the King's Harbormaster would be impressed and accept the ship and crew that was once allied with an enemy. Did Payton look and start to feel like his old self? Yes. And did Tiri happen to catch a glimpse of an incredibly sappy love to addressed to them? Also yes.

Mysteries of the Moonshaes - 3.5.2023 session Captain Odds left the party to go find the comfort of the open ocean and her ghost ship. She promised the mutinous crew she would free then from their ghostly duties either once they help her fulfill her quest or upon her death.

While Tiri was on the Duke’s Exchange nursing the weakened Captain Payton, Rivulet’s trusty tarot deck was transformed into the Deck of Many things and summoned an Avatar of Death and challenged her to single combat. Before she could strike the final blow, the avatar discarded its scythe and knelt down with its arms wide and spoke. “Do you think he has forgotten you? He is coming.” Rivulet pulled him close. “Tell him to come and get me then”

Rivulet, Princess of Thalatheus, Cleric of Deep Sashelas. The Star. Rivulet joined our party after leaving the Lightning Riot circus who we met in the underdark. She was running away from the mission her god, Vecna, sent her on. After much inner turmoil and reflection, she cast her old god aside and was embraced by Deep Sashelas, a much kinder god. Though recently we learned Vecna still haunts her footsteps, calling his old cleric back to his musty library to collect more powerful items for his collection.

At the start of each session, she does a tarot card reading for us.

Mysteries of the Moonshaes Over breakfast, Rivulet told us what she learned about Evelynn's blade and how it had been wielded by many Gods of Death before it was given to Evelynn. We had known of the prophecy - that it was to be bathed in the blood of shadows - but now that prophecy sees a bit more important than before.

We discussed the powerful crystals again and we all agreed, Therein could not collect them all. He was too erratic, bordering on manic last night and we could not trust him entirely. The party agreed Tiri's frosty friend, the Queen of Air & Darkness, definitely shouldn't get them either - and tried to get Tiri to agree but they were cagey about that.

Therein, though, did not like hearing of this possibly betrayal and kicked us out. He'll continue collecting the crystals on his own. And he'll save us all - and we are determined to save him, even if that means saving him from himself.

The Strapping Family Reunion was awkward. So awkward in fact that Rivulet and Nash excused themselves to go tend to the chickens instead of being in that kitchen. Rivulet had never really been around chickens before so Nash showed her the latest methods in chicken feeding.

Over dinner Bart's parents were a tad dismissive of his goals but politely asked about his adventures. Rivulet saw this as a prime opportunity to test out her newest spell - Rivulets Lore Dump - to get them up to speed quickly. It was too much for them to handle.

Bart tried to smooth things over. But between the new knowledge and the disappointment of their son only going by his stage name and leaving them behind, it was too much. Bart was kicked out of his parents new home and essentially disowned.
