The Colours of Parabola

Another @neathyfashioncoalition event, and this time the theme is Parabola Elegance! And to be honest- I wasn't entirely sure what to do with that theme. It may be because I haven't actually accessed Parabola in the game yet, but when I think of Parabola I don't necessarily think of particular fashion. So I decided to start somewhere simple, the two colors associated with Parabola. And lucky for me, I have already assigned those colors to two of my characters. Viric for my Light Fingers character, Emery, and Cosmogone for my future Silverer, Sibyl.
From there I decided to take inspiration from the artwork of Alphonse Mucha for the dresses, and went for that mix of regency and fairytale style of clothing. Honestly, I would have loved to go for more detailed, Art Nouveau, style backgrounds to compliment my models, but to be frank I'm really busy with my job and upcoming commitments so I have to be selective with how much effort I put into certain pieces.
Anyway, it was really fun working on this project and putting in as many details related to Parabola and my characters' stories as I could. Some subtle, some not so much. This probably won't be my only submission, I have some other ideas I wanna do in the coming months, but I hope you guys will enjoy these portraits of The Well-Intentioned Thief and The Insatiable Ingenue.
