I wanted to figure out what Salem’s eyes would look like after becoming a monster hunter, and I did a few extra concepts as well. I am still yet to decide which one exactly I’ll use but I’m thinking maybe the third in the middle row. I don’t often do art without lineart but I like how this turned out.

Oh, I did it. Finally. I did it. Fallen London. I’ve become a Monster Hunter.

And I did not expect the Peligin eyes. Not at all. That’s so fucking cool.

Do all the Tier 3 professions do that? Do they give you neathbow eyes in the colour associated with the profession? Do Midnighters wear Irrigo and Licentates wear Gant?

I love the neathbow so much. Eldritch light. It’s fantastic.

And now I’m a monster hunter, with my bone harpoon, and my eyes the colour of the Unterzee. It’s fantastic, and I love it.

Yesterday during Halloween, I thought of a fun idea for inbox trick or treating! Drawing treats based not only on my Fallen London characters, but also for the seven Neathbow colors.

I love the neathbow so much actually, i'm always thinking about it. Feels like something that was specifically made in a lab for me to get obsessed with. Impossible colours that appear in the absence of light, each with its own shades and properties and meaning. it compells me

C lights COSMOGONE, the colour of remembered suns. The fecund, the foetid, the fungal: these flourish in the glow of cosmogone.
