Magellan For iPad Updated With MIDI Out, WIST, LFO Sync & More

Yonac’s Magellan virtual synthesizer for iOS has been updated to include a host of additions and changes from the previous edition.  Big changes include the ability to control other MIDI apps inside Magellan modules as well as WIST integration – which can toggle Magellan as the “slave”, allowing it to direct separate sources and targets within the app.  An auto BPM detection feature was added, and the “MIDI learn” function was re-worked to make more sense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fJBIOzdFCI&feature=player_embedded Small bugs were fixed to help streamline usability, such as the addition of a “save changes” button for quick saves – and an error with the metronome count-in feature was corrected. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2012/09/04/magellan-for-ipad-updated-with-midi-out-wist-lfo-sync-more
