SONG OF THE DAY: Aiden Grimshaw - “Virtually Married”

Aiden Grimshaw has already teased us with “Virtually Married” and “Giving It Up” from his upcoming 4-track EP and now the British singer-songwriter has dropped his latest instalment in the name of “Animal”, and this track is my personal favourite yet! This track showcases more of Aiden’s sharp and unique vocals combined with a strong beat and synth. I love the dark atmosphere in the track, there’s a sense of power and yearning whilst Aiden’s vocals are so hard-hitting within the heavy bass beats, it’s truly amazing and I cannot wait for the last track and the release of the EP! - Aliyah

Aiden Grimshaw recently returned to the music scene with his track “Virtually Married” and now the British singer-songwriter has just dropped a second track “Giving It Up” which is another experimental piece with an incredible production, I love the bouncy synth sounds merged with the mesmerising vocal from Aiden, the track is all together very reminiscent of indie artists such as Metronomy. The track was also co-written by Dan Dare, Violet Skies and MEMEB - who also produced Virtually Married. If you like what you hear then watch out for Aiden’s EP later this year. - Ali
