Lility enemies to lovers but it's a modern au set in the deep south where they're both farm girls but Charity has always lived there and Lily has just moved in next door, while everyone else there is a senior citizen.

Lily tries to make friends with all the people in the neighborhood so she bakes them little treats and gives them gifts as she introduces herself and soon enough everyone loves and adores her.

Charity gets the treats and gifts too but she's extremely suspicious of this overly nice and obnoxiously cheerful girl who seems to have popped outta nowhere to disrupt her peaceful country life.

Lily, however, makes it her life's mission to befriend Charity cuz she can't stand being disliked by anyone.

As a result, every time they interact, it's all "Honey", "Sugar", "Sweetheart" and "Bless your heart" but dripping in sarcasm but the heavy undertones of sexual tension isn't lost on anyone.
