A huge gorilla made out of thatch sits near Volcanoes National Park, home to five of the eight volcanoes in the thickly forested Virunga Mountains — Karisimbi, Bisoke, Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo. In Rwanda, the $1,500 permit per-person to track gorillas allows for an hour’s interaction with the animals. The treks are carefully controlled - only 96 permits are available each day, and each hike is restricted to eight people. RWANDA 🇷🇼 VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK ------------------------------------------------------------ Yesterday we Visited our closest cousins after chimpanzees and bonobos.they are very Charismatic and intelligent animals, we share 98.3% of their DNA with us. after two hours in the Virunga massif hiking and zigzagging trekking we find them napping after a busy morning looking for food in their natural habitat .
