Visited the Buddhist Gompa in #Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. I am here to attend @arunachallaf a great initiave to bring various art forms like Poetry, writing, Painting etc on a common stage and have meaningful convesation for promotion of arts. . . . . . Most of the landscape in #Ladakh is barren, there is hardly a blade of grass leave aside a tree. Azure and ashy brown dominate everywhere. But then you see the people of Ladakh and you instantly realise that they love colors. From the beautful clothes they weave to the colorful decoration in every aspect of Ladakhi life and you learn to appreciate the colors of Ladakh. Take for example this large Prayer wheel, that is colorfuly painted with golden motifs and the shelter in which it stands has bold red, yellow, orange & green.
