The Zuni Mountains offer a variety of outdoor recreation including extensive hiking & mountain biking on the Zuni Mountain Trail System, camping in developed campgrounds or dispersed sites, and winter activities like cross-country skiing.
The weather didn't cooperate with the balloonists last weekend during Red Rock Rally. Too much snow, wind, and ice, but they did stage both of the balloon glows and the holiday parade. Fun, albeit cold, weekend in #Gallup.

24-Hours in the Enchanted Forest is coming up at the end of July in the Zuni Mountains, east of #Gallup. 24-Hour biking event/competition. Solo or team riding. Family friendly event. McGaffey Campground becomes a temporary mountain biking village in the woods.
