Malaysia Revisited
It makes me laugh every time I try to relieve our story on the way to Kuala Lumpur. This was the last stop for our 12-day journey across Indochina, and we were coming from Bangkok.
Instead of just sitting comfortably in a 2 hour-long plane ride, we did it on land. Trip started with a 19-hour long regular train ride (not a sleeper and no aircon), waited for 4 hours to get into the 2-hour train ride bound for Malaysian border. We were supposedly getting a rapid train straight to KL, but sadly tickets were sold out. So we took a 2-hour train ride to Butterworth, Penang instead. We hit another detour because train tickets to KL got soldout. So we took a bus ride instead that lasted for 9 hours. A total of 36 hours! Can you imagine?? Hahahuhu. Anyway, here are my shots from our 2–day stay in Kuala Lumpur.
