I believe that the ability to sketch is useful as the ability to write. Visual approach for note-taking help me to learn, remember and organise information. And also it is great skill to make your presentations more fun!

Now I am working on the online course where I will share my approach for note-taking and you will learn the basic principles of how to make your notes and slides more visual, fun and useful.

実践女子大学「情報リテラシー応用e」授業紹介

2021年9月から実践女子大学にて非常勤講師として勤めています。情報デザインの授業として「情報リテラシー応用e」を担当することになりました。

授業では「ビジュアル言語の理解と活用」をテーマに、インフォグラフィックスやグラフィックレコーディングやビジュアルファシリテーションなどさまざまなコミュニケーションデザインの技法を学びます。

オリエンテーション、身体性と可視化、アイコンとピクトグラムと授業を行ってきて本日は第4回目の授業でした。テーマは「感情と身体」、そして「状況を描く」です。

表情は割と描き慣れてきた学生ですが体を描こうとすると迷う子も多いのでポイントをお伝えしました。

身体を描く時のポイント5つ

○＋⭐️ 丸＋星

○＋△ 丸＋三角

○＋□ 丸＋四角

○＋A（アルファベットAを描き足せばそれだけで足が作れる）

○＋🐙（タコのような体にすれば関節気にしないのでちょっと変な動きもできる）　

あとはこれらの5パターンの人間イラストに髪や服を描き足してあげるとより情報量の多いイラストが描けます。

状況を描く

状況を描くのには、感情や身体に加えて背景などの景色や空間を描かねばなりません。そこでご紹介したのは「5W1H情景」ワークです。

にそれぞれ分解して順番に描いていくことで同時に描かねばという既成概念を取っ払い気軽に絵が描けるようになる方法をお伝えしました。

全15回なのでまだまだ続きますが、参加者40名には楽しみながらコミュニケーションデザインを学んで可視化の技術を身につけていってほしいです。

Canvases as Co-Facilitator

In a series of three workshops I explored the state of practice in using graphic organizers / canvases to advance group processes. More than 50 change agents, process guides and facilitators contributed. Find out how canvases can help to get groupwork to the next level:

Workshop Documentation After building up creative confidence and getting to know each other, we collected canvases that proved as helpful in groupwork. In the workshop at Collaborative Sandbox we had a look at the most unsatisfactory situations in groupwork and how visual guidance might help to change these. In the two workshops with process guides and facilitators at the IAF EMENA conference and during Facilitation Week Berlin, we explored what becomes possible if one invites canvases in as your co-facilitator.
